Quiet and nicely appointed room. Vivien is very congenial and helpful. Location right beside redwood forest was perfect. Nice continental breakfast.

The location of the B&B is ideal for nature lovers, just a short walk from the Redwoods. It's also not far from downtown or the airport.
The wooden porch outside the room is a great place to listen to bird calls and nature. There is also a sitting room accessible to guests.
The owner is very welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive, providing a great deal of information to travelers regarding attractions in the area and places to visit. The breakfast is made to your liking, at a time you choose. (GREAT TOAST!)
It is also appreciated when recycling bins are provided for conscious guests, and there is a large one in the room.
The lighting in the room was a bit bright for my tastes, but this is minor.

Great breakfast, excellent host. Nice and comfortable room, very close to the Redwoods Walk. Viv went out of her way to help us by getting us tickets for the Redwoods walk. It was a fast pass and saved us lots of time. Viv also gave us guidance on the various activities and tours in the area. Overall great stay.

Vivien is a warm, friendlh and hospitable host. She will share with you great tips about the walking trail, places of interest and foods & drinks specially catered for your interest (as long as you chat with her and let her know). The room is cozy and well located - within 10 to 15 mins to the Redwood trail and Redwood tree walk.

Great location and room to spread out. The host was very helpful and gave us lots of good information about what to do in Rotorua.
The rooms were warm but the communal area took a while to warm up. As it was a basement, there was a dampness/mildew smell.

Love the proximity to the redwood walk and close by eats! Vivian, the host, was exceptional! She helped us plan out our whole day and ever recommendation was perfect. The breakfast provided was lovely. She was so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this place. We could not have asked for a better stay and felt so welcomed!
