Location
Old and tired, dusty blinds in the bedroom, shower was at best a dribble and difficult to access with the screen right by the tap. toilet struggled to flush properly. the balcony was dark and dreary and there was NO view. The carparks were terrible squeezing 3 cars underneath was difficult to get in and out of

The apartments are located in an excellent position right in the middle of town. Communication for after hours check-in was clear and easy. Room was spotless.

Reception staff were good. We liked being able to store our bags after checkout.
The drive lighting wasn't working at night making it hard to see where we were going.

2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment - very central. Less than 5 min walk to town/restaurants/waterfront etc.
Had everything we needed. Onsite parking. Laundry available.
Good option for 2 couples.
No lake view.

These apartments are in a great location in the heart of Queenstown, and yet tucked away so they are quiet at night. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment and it was very spacious. It must have had a recent makeover as the carpet, kitchen cabinets and appliances were all very new. Beds were comfy and the heating worked well on a cold night. We were able to leave luggage in a secure location on checkout day which was very helpful.

Location
They pre authorized $200 which was immediately deducted from our credit card. I explained that pre authorize means putting a hold on the funds not withdrawing it. We still haven’t been refunded this money despite the fact that I requested it. This was a couple of days ago, if I don’t have it by the end of the week I will raise a complaint with Booking. Com

This apartment is incredibly close to town. I don’t think you could stay any closer!! We have stayed here before but this time stayed in a newly renovated apartment which was beautiful.

This is our 5th time booking these apartments and we won’t book anywhere else when staying in Queenstown. Literally walk out the gate and you are in town.
We stayed in a slightly dated apartment this stay but it was still comfortable and has all of the necessary amenities. You really can’t beat how close this is to town.

Second stay at the St James Apartments and was everything we expected. Location is excellent. This time we stayed in a 3bedroom townhouse which was excellent for 3x women travelling for a girls trip.

Location is spot on.
The room smelt very musky and the curtain blinds are old and stained.
You couldn't open the blinds in our room during the day or night as it looked directly into an office building with people looking straight into our room.
Bed covers are extremely dated smelt and weren't clean at all.
Shower had old soap scum build up still in the soap shelf ( not cleaned for sure)
The price we paid was ridiculous for what we got in return. Better priced apartments 50 meters up the road that are updated and clean . I guess we know now so no harm.

Close to centre of Queenstown. I stayed 3 times and left my luggage between walking/cycling trips which was convenient. Coin operated washing machine on property. Clean and helpful staff.

Location is excellent.
No A/C, smells like old carpet that has never been cleaned. Bare minimum amenities, internet extremely slow. No reception staff before 9:30am or after 5pm. Check out at 10am otherwise they will charge you. If you need help because of being locked out, you will be charged as well. If you don't clean your cups and dishes, you will be charged too. Worse than an Airbnb.
