We enjoyed the half day E MTB rental and the cozy Cabins. Comfortable beds, good location to Queenstown and Arrowtown

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice community kitchen, heating and comfortable beds.
Kitchenette could have also had bowls. I had booked the Rata lodge for its kitchenette and had gotten ready to heat meals which I could unfortunately not heat on a plate or in a mug. Just having a small sink in the bathroom did not help with the cooking and I ended up renting cookware and make meals at the community kitchen.

The place was lovely and clean, very cozy. It had everything we needed. The whole campsite was neat, clean and tidy

Disappointing
Property had everything we needed for the stay. Sadly it was not clean which made the stay disappointing. Staff at reception was nice though.
Property was not clean upon arrival. Hairs found in shower. Toilets not clean. Carpet not properly vacuumed. Rubbish found behind bedside table that we put in the rubbish. Dishes not properly cleaned.
I did notify to staff at reception regarding items that needed to be fixed: shower head was broken and leaking; shower floor had a small damage; bathroom window could not close; carpet floor had stains by the kitchen, one lightbulb in the living room required to be changed.

The staff was welcoming and helpful. I stayed in the Rata Lodge, which had a tiny ensuite, a small room and sitting area - it is a bit outdated but clean. You may feel like in the middle of nowhere surrounded by mountains, a great spot for stargazing, but relatively close to town - I appreciated the complimentary shuttle service, the public bus was also convenient, and running to town was one of my favourite routes.
Cuppa, a cute caravan for coffee also made my stay more special.
The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, in general the bathroom was rather outdated.

The bed was comfortable and venue was nice. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
The room we had was too small for two people and the bed was crammed up against the wall so you couldn't walk down both sides of the bed. There was only one comfortable seat for one person which was too large for the room given the dining table which had two hard chairs. Two comfortable dining chairs without the other single large chair would make the room more spacious and allow room for your baggage.. also no room for your food stuff although you had a fridge, crockery toaster and kettle. The BBQ facilities were not great although the shared kitchen had plenty of space if you were prepared to pay $5 a day extra to access the cooking facilities. That said we only stayed two nights which was more than enough.

The location is great for mountain biking, walking etc and watching the Shotover jet boats up close. Great facilities, friendly staff.

Wonderful
We really love everything about it. We stayed in a room for 2 pax with toilet in it. Basic facilities and needs provided in the room are more than enough. The kitchen and dining area is big and comfortable. Views of mountains and hills are superb especially during sunrise. Very nice place!
