This place is perfect for families seeking a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. If your goal is to explore Queenstown’s beautiful attractions, I highly recommend it—it’s well-located, not overpriced, and conveniently close to everything you need. Parking is hassle-free as well. We’re already planning to return and will definitely book this place again.

It was very clean and close to everything!
I did not realize that booking a cabin I would not have a bathroom. Make sure if you book this, you know that you will have to walk to the communal bathroom and shower.

Great location!! Walking distance to the main part of town and right next to the Gondola. Would definitely stay there again for the location. Room was comfortable for a family of 4.

Fantastic location, so convenient to everything. The staff were attentive and very informative.
The shower was not very user-friendly and a couple of the kitchen items hadn't been cleaned from previous users. Otherwise not too bad but unremarkable accommodation.

Perfect location. Overlooks the city--beautiful views of mountains and lakes. Easy 5 minute walk to the Gondola and 5 minutes the other way to restaurants and shopping. Traveling with a family of six--our room had plenty of comfy beds. Perfect!
Other holiday parks we stayed in provided pots and pans for cooking. This one didn't. Also, there was a microwave and an oven that weren't working (no indication that they were working on it) so there were lines for the others.

The location was unmatched. Just being so central made the holiday so much better. As for the facilities I can’t complain about anything. Not modern but clean and comfortable so we were very happy.

It’s just next to the Skyline and hot tub, walking distance to downtown - exceptional location. It offers paid parking after check-out. The room was good, it had a good AC that we were able to use to heat up the room when it went cold. There’s a small fridge and kattle in the room too. The place has special places and rooms for campers which is nice, and there’s a common lundry.
Getting hot water was challenging, for handwash it ran only cold, and it took at least 10 mins to get warm water in the shower. No light (lamp) in the shower, it was a bit odd. No shower gel, only small hand soaps available. The toilet had issues, didn’t flush properly. The instant coffe offered in the room was terrible.

The beds were very uncomfortable indeed. The lack of padding on the mattresses meant the comfort was very low class and caused a disturbed sleep.

I stayed in a cabin (no car). The cabin was clean and in excellent shape other than one loose electrical outlet. The view faced the caravans (RVs), which wasn't pretty, but the other guests were very respectful about quiet hours. The WC and shower areas were tidier than at other campgrounds I've stayed at.
If you don't have a car, be prepared for a short but painful uphill climb from city center..

Location of Hampshire Park and friendly staff.
Very dated room with leaking tap in sink, broken/ leaking shower head- sprayed water everywhere, wrinkly trip hazard carpet. Broken heater. Nowhere to sit your things in bathroom- small sink and toilet only.
As it was a disabled room the shower does not adjust higher than its setting on wall.
Light for bathroom attached to exhaust fan that then activated fan when light turned on blowing cold air into main living area across bed/ sleeping area.
TV broken for the 2 nights that we stayed in a bit longer due to the bad weather.
We understand that the park will be undergoing some well needed upgrades however this room should not be available to stay in at the current pricing. Low entry onto verandah- had to remember to duck to not hit head. This is the parks 'Disability room'. We are not disabled, so to have this room with nothing at regular height proved challenging.
