The views and location are amazing! the place has everything you need for a smooth trip in terms of facilities. It’s close to to town which is a bonus. The manager told us that’s it’s recently had some improvements to the property and it looks lovely. highly recommend.
the walk home from town is quite steep but an uber was only $8

Location
Terrible maintenance of property. Carpets (damp) smell throughout the property. Spider webs / Bugs everywhere and no minimum toiletries were provided. Very unhygienic linen with terrible bedding. Host responses were terrible when the issue was brought up.

The property owner was incredibly rude and dismissive, showing no regard for basic customer service. Not only did they lie about the condition of the property, but they also took my money even though I didn’t stay there!
The property itself was a nightmare—dirty, dusty, and moist, with a weird, unpleasant smell that made it impossible to feel comfortable. It’s shocking that a property in such terrible condition is listed on a reputable platform like Booking.com.
This place is a complete fraud. Be very careful if you’re considering booking here. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone and hope this review helps others avoid the same mistake.

The views are spectacular! Such a beautiful view hence why we booked it for the last 2 nights of our 2 week family holiday.
Whilst the view is incredible and we were able to check in early which was very lovely as we travelled with a 6 month baby, mostly everything else about the house was a huge let down. Never have I once written a bad review about accommodation as I’m very easy going and understand things are never perfect however the house itself was disappointing.
The host was hard to get a hold of, we weren’t sent check in details, I had to call a couple of times the morning of checking in.
The house was dirty, the bedding had oil like stains, the windows were filthy, the garden was overgrown. More importantly, the house smelt strongly of mould we had to air it out.
Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this place, sorry.

Location and views were amazing and the size of the house was perfect for our two families.
A bit tired and run down with the house needing a lot of work inside and out.
Communication with the host was also slow with us having to wait over 2 hours past our check in time for them to get back to us with the door code.
Ran out of gas for the hot water on night 3 and no response from host so no one was able to shower until the next day.

Great view. Good house design
Distance from town. Walk down hill is at least 30min. Walk back almost impossible especially for older people.
Kitchen needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Green mould around the kitchen windows was not appreciated.

The most amazing views of Queenstown and a beautiful house! We were a group of 8 and loved our stay. The house was so warm and cosy.
The walk up and down into town is very steep so you need a good level of fitness but we were aware of this before arrival so not an issue for us. Cheap to uber if you need

Clean and loved the views . Not too far from town.
1. Heating and lighting of the rooms was not great . Just good enough .
3.Slippery drive way. We had a one year old with us . It was scary to carry her on the slippery driveway.
4. No milk provided which is very usual at most nz stays .
5.Managed to get access code to the property at last minute after making payment . Host must work on this and come up with a better process . Adds little bit of last minute tension . What if the host won’t pick up the call ? She did miss my calls .
6.Dint know about the damage deposit until I say the amount deducted in my bank account . Could have been communicated proactively .
