It was a nice experience staying at Hilton. Very pleasant staff. Buffet breakfast was really good. Rooms were big and super luxurious bed. We had a big bathtub as well. The facilities are lovely. The male and female steam room and sauna are separate. There is a water taxi which comes every hour if you don't wanna drive to the town centre (not free). I was disappointed that the valet parking was NZ 50 a day. We found parking on the street both days but there is outside parking for $20 a day. Food was average in the pub. I would recommend if you wanna stay away from the town centre. 5mins to the airport which was handy for us as we had an early flight.
Cheaper parking facilities for guests would be nice as it is quite far from the town centre and no need to charge $50 a day.

the king room was large and comfortable with a lovely balcony view overlooking the lake. breakfast was amazing. if you wanted something that you couldn't see you just asked. the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The experience was exceptional. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming,The highlight was the room. Located right on the waterfront. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, but it was the view that made it unforgettable. I found myself not wanting to leave the room at all because it was just that beautiful and relaxing.
