Located 5 minutes' drive from the center of Queenstown, Kamana Lakehouse offers stunning views over Lake Wakatipu and the iconic Remarkables mountain range. Each beautiful, air-conditioned room features contemporary decor, premium beds, USB charging ports, free WiFi, and an outdoor seating area. Nest is growing lasting roots in our local Central Otago environment. We bring you delicious foraged herbs, seeds and wild ingredients, and nurture key partnerships with local farmers, growers and fishermen. There is always something new and exciting at Nest. We update menu items with the four seasons, and bring unique creations to light every week in our five course degustation experience. All thoughtfully designed towards an aspirational “zero waste” dining experience. Kamana Lakehouse is just 5 minutes' walk from the entrance of Fernhill Loop Track and Ben Lomond Track for easy access to some of New Zealand's native nature. It is well serviced by activity operators and close to local ski fields. We wish to share an important note with our guests: From April 2024 onwards, neighboring areas in close proximity to the hotel are currently undergoing extensive development work. Our hotel and facilities remain fully operational, however we do wish to share that guests could possibly experience the sound impact during the hours of Monday-Saturday, 8am-6pm. Our Lakeview Luxe and Tahuna Lakeview room categories are located adjacent to the development and may therefore have their views impacted at times. Fantastic housekeeping,clean rooms ,great breakfast and lovely view
Customer service at Reception,when we arrived wasn't very inviting he handed us over to the his colleague to check us in tho neither of them were doing anything but standing there weren't welcoming,then he proceeds to give her our room card after she wasn't able to locate,then upon checkout again different staff but again the lady at front desk did not smile put a really dampener on my 1st impression of a property I was looking forward to staying at

We loved everything! Our room, the comfy big bed & pillows, the big shower with great pressure, the hot tub, the breakfast, Frank the cat the local icon who thinks he owns the neighbourhood! The staff were very friendly & kind, best customer service we’ve experienced in a long time, we will be staying here again!

I liked the service i received, the resturant was lovely, beds comfortable.
A had a cheese platter in my room on arrival but no cheese knife to cut the cheese. We didnt ring and ask for one to be brought up. I used a spoon.

Beautiful view from the room
No allocated parking, so you may be paying a lot to stay the night but have to park on the street if others use the hotel carpark. À la carte breakfast was $45pp didn’t get told what we would be getting. No free milk provided in room to use tea/coffee facilities (when all other 5 hotels we stayed at provided a huge range of coffee/tea/sugar and milk) Only a few TV channels - didn’t offer smart tv apps ( Netflix, Prime etc - when other cheaper hotels did)

The room was close to the lounge and restaurant and not sound proof at all. With a baby this was hard. The room service menu was terrible and very limited especially with dietary inclusions
