We have stayed here before. We came back because we knew our way around the area. It’s nice and central, close to eateries, supermarkets, shops, the city and airport.
The second time we stayed, we were in an adjoining room. I could hear the neighbours conversation. But that may be because I chose a cheaper room.

Two bedroom unit was outfitted with everything you could need.
We were on the end and there was some street and music noise but the bedrooms were on an inside wall so it was not too bad.

I booked this property for it's closeness to the train station - as we were arriving late on the Coastal Pacific (around 8pm) and leaving early for the TranzAlpine (7.20am pick up). The property does not pick you up from the station, but they provide you with a free shuttle to take you there for your journey (if you arrange this with them). Around 700m from the station, and still light, we decided to walk to the motel on our arrival into Christchurch. It was not too far, all flat and a good way to stretch after the long train trip. I felt that reception was open, just waiting for us to check in as I had advised them of our late arrival time. The one bedroom apartment was on the ground floor as I had requested, and it was spacious, very clean and even had a bath. We had a good 2 night stay in this property - the bed was comfortable and there was a service station and Chinese (Madam Kwong's) up the road for dinner and soft drinks - all in walking distance. Town is a drive away and cost around 15NZD to get in the next day - to go to the movies and have a look around. The motel is on a very busy road and not really a lot around, but we enjoyed our stay. It was perfect, exactly what we needed and good value for money.

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Calm, quiet environment to sleep after airport. Good cooking facilities including some real coffee and a cafetiere. Very clean, comfortable and spacious.

Beautifully presented rooms, modern updated units, the only diwnside were the beds were hard and the springs were poking up in the double bed but other than that very pleased

Such a convenient motel for the Rail Journeys. We used their shuttle service which worked really well. The Mangers were so helpful. Thank you. We were directed to a Speigths Ale House for an evening meal - again this worked well.

Staff helped when guest laundry not operating,

Comfy bed, good shower, nice quiet location, friendly, helpful staff and had everything we needed.
Parking was a bit tight, but manageable.
