We arrived into Christchurch at midnight and the managers had left our unit unlocked for us with lights on and milk in the fridge. We were only staying one night but wanted to explore the city the next day and they were kind enough to store our bags for the day. The room was spotless with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The bus stop was right outside and also had a petrol station next door. Thanks for a great pitstop

Everything was great, friendly staff, spatious room, great kichenette. We had a great meal in a local tavern. Motel was at a great location for continuing our journey up north.

The rooms were surprisingly quiet given how close the main road was, with thevdoor closed you could not hear any road noise.
The motor ldge was close to bus stops and being on the main road once you got used to doing a U turn at the lights access to major teansport routes was good.
The rooms were comfortable, well maintained. Satf were friendly, helpful and good at their jobs. I would stay here again.
Cooking facilities were a little cramped but adequate. The supplied info packet in the room had not been updated since 2017 so some information was out of date. Parking was interesting with no assigned car parks.

Very Comfortable Bed, very clean, good heating. Good location. I have stayed here many times before.
Hot water system not functioning properly. Seemed to be very little pressure with the hot water in the shower, basin and kitchen tap. Hard to mix the water for a shower.
