A quaint B&B run by a lovely couple who were extremely helpful. They also offered a pick-up service to/from the airport. Also went out their way to help us purchase a new suitcase. Location was within easy walking distance of the city centre. Although on a main road, never heard any traffic noise. And breakfast was great!
Difficult to see the numbers on the lock on the front door.

very comfortable accommodation who offered an excellent breakfast choice of good quality. The hosts were very informative and knowledgeable about the area who gave excellent advice for ongoing travel arrangements. We would highly recommend staying at Homelea and would love to return one day.

Breakfast was delicious. Homemade compotes from fruit from the garden. Delicious hot cooked meal. Location was good. The house is located on a busy street but it was very quiet inside. We walked into town and back. Probably less than a mile.

Nice house with good parking, hosts friendly and helpful.
We stayed during unusual heat wave and no air conditioning. Breakfast was good and plentyful, but the main course is what the host decides on the day which I found a little strange and inflexible.

Lovely old property - beautifully restored. Very well thought out for visitor comfort and convenience. Lovely hosts - excellent breakfasts. The bathroom was one of the best we have found in our travels throughout the South Island.
If stairs are a challenge then this may not be the place for you - but otherwise an awesome place to stay.

The attentiveness of Pauline and Gerald was fabulous in they are great hosts. Their home is beautiful and comfortable.
There was some road noise but it was a Saturday night so maybe on other nights it wouldn’t be so loud
