Breathtakingly Beautiful & comfortable. Enjoyed the setting of the Hotel & its location to the events & adventures we participated in. Tudors restaurant - gorgeous Breakfast with our accommodation package, lavish & fulfilling!

We stayed in the less expensive accommodation- which is really 2 star accommodation. Maybe the upgrade is a lot nicer

Rooms were fine. There was parking. I could walk 10 minutes to take bus to the airport. The breakfast was good, but expensive if you have to pay for it.
It was a little far to the city center. I stayed at the hotel the first night as part of a tour. The inflexible staff (manager) would not let me keep the same room both nights because I booked a different category of rooms for my second night. My room the second night was in the motel unit with a kitchen and living room that the more expensive first tour room didn't have. I had to leave my bag at reception. The box breakfast for departure before 6:30 am was very meager (apple, orange, some kind of sweet yogurt and drink) given the breakfast add-on charge was $34NZD.

We arrived for the breakfast (paid with our room) but they had closed the Buffett early and when asked would not refund our additional charge for the meal :(

What an amazing place to stay! Close to the city, just a 10 minute drive (Uber was $10-12).
Got lots of character while being nicely renovated.
Very good price as well.
Parking was available on the premises.
Nothing, we enjoyed our stay.

Great center city location yet still peaceful. Absolutely beautiful aesthetic - the outside is like stepping back in time to ye olde Tudor England, but the indoor facilities are modern and very comfortable. Amazing buffet breakfast. Friendly, helpful, staff. Good, convenient EV charging. Decent gym.
The gym was good but could have done with a way for guests to clean the gear when finished with it.

Lovely furnishings. Didn't realize their was a bit of a Victorian theme or something and our boy was creeped out by the stocks and the old style door handles. Otherwise very comfortable and nice room
Was extremely annoyed that the shower water went cold. I was having my shower late evening after the other 2 and the water was cold. Wouldnt go hot after many many tries/time. It was too late at night for me to be bothered calling for help. Had one in the morning and the water was back to hot.
