Wonderful
Location is excellent. The motel is quiet despite being on a main street and the staff were very helpful. The unit is comfortable and warm.
There was no salt and pepper!

Good for a night or two if you need a place to sleep.
Great location, staff were lovely and overall clean.
Cleaning was to standard.
It's probably a Christchurch issue. The shower pressure was very low and hot water ran out for a family of 5.

Disappointing
The beds were comfy and warm.
The rooms were very run down. All the window latches were broken and some did not close properly. The furniture was old and it just didn't have a nice feeling about it. The hot water taps were either broken completely, jammed or dripping. The shower was ok but also very run down.

The location and lounge area very good
It was quite cold and the front door wouldnt always close that well. Bit of a draught and a drippy tap

The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was special. The rooms were spacious, warm and clean with excellent cooking facilities

Very comfortable bed. Location excellent pretty cheap for the Location warm spacious room
Plumbing was noisy rooms much in need of a do up. Grounds very untidy.. but I guess you get what you pay for.

We checked in a bit early and were accommodated with the staff quickly serviced our room so we could get in earlier. We also were allowed to leave our car onside while we were exploring Christchurch the day of our check out.

Comfortable older style motel. Good value for money.
Room had a small kitchen.
The shower water control took some time to negotiate.
