We were visiting Christchurch for a 21st party so only a short stay. The motel itself is dated but still have TV and all the other amenities such as guest laundry, fully serviced bathrooms and a great kitchen. Bus stop was near to travel to the city but Uber is also convenient. Merivale shops, pubs and Cafes are only a block away and it has the best Supermarket and Deli I’ve seen in a long time. A great place to relax.

Spacious room, equipped with everything we needed.
Water in the shower were either extremely hot (burn level) or cold.
The toilet seat seems a few decades old and needs an urgent replacement.
