The room was very clean and spacious. It was fully stocked and easily somewhere you could stay for a number of days. It had courtesy laundry. It was an easy 20 minute walk to city centre.
There was nothing to dislike.

The shower wasn't working properly.
You're pretty far from everything, so make sure that you do have a vehicle for getting around.

This is an older but well-kept, very clean motel within a kilometre walking distance from the centre of the city, so in terms of value for money, it was excellent. Staff were helpful and happy to make flexible arrangements. Bed was a little old but fine; I slept very well every night. Surprisingly quiet given its on a main road into the city. Parking was right outside the room. Room included microwave, small cooktop, fridge, hair dryer. Very simple but all I needed.
Wifi was terrible the first night and following morning. Improved by the third morning (mid week) and was fine by the time I left. (Free wifi is available in many areas around the city.) Shower was very low water pressure. I personally didn't find that a problem as I live in a rural area, but just something to be aware of.

Good spot around the edge of the CDB. Clean and tidy.
Beds were squishy and the pillows thin. Didn't sleep well. Shower over bath wasn't great, no anti slip or handrail.

I think they have recently had new carpet installed as the doors did not close very well. The doors need to be planed. It really wouldn't take much to do to make the doors close as they should do. The microwave was not clean.

This motel is off a busy Main Street so much quieter than many we may previously stayed in. The owner is easy to communicate with & very nice.
Great parking!
Close to cafés & restaurants.
The laundry was awesome & only $1 for powder; it was good to catch up on our clothes washing.
Heat pump worked well.
