Wonderful
The location was quite good to CBD, we used an uber for our convenience. The room was clean and serviced. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
In our room the couch and dining chairs were tired and not very comfortable. The bathroom is very small, and the basin is very small, otherwise it served the purpose.

Spacious and spotless studio room located on the ground floor of the very front part of the premises. Close to the main entrance of the property, the room was very quite and cosy. Has a very comfortable queen size bed with crisp white bedsheets/linens and four (4) pefect pillows that combines comfort and breathability in enhancing your sleep quality.
Has a widecreen TV with lots of movie channels to pick from. Also contains a small table and 2 chairs, bar fridge and an electric cooking top with a wide kitchen bench for food preparations. The spotlessly clean kichen has all the cooking utensils/crockeries you need to dish out your meal should you prefer to stay indoor during your stay.
Spacious, clean and well lit bathroom and toilet with clean towels. It has grab bars and rails and lots of room to move should you have mobility aids you can use in the bathroom.
The in-house telephone was not connected eventhough it was mentioned "In-house Information Guide" folder so I couldnt call receptions for futher enquiries. The accommodation was breakfast inclusive but there was no mentioned of breakfast when I checked in nor breakfast room service at 7.30am. There was also no mentioned of the dinning room location on the Guide if breakfast was served outside the room.

Very clean and warm rooms. Was fabulous to have a lift. Comfortable beds. The staff were very accomodating and super friendly and helpful.

was supposed to be an accessible unit as my wife in wheelchair. Bathroom was excellent in this regard. Kitchen was good but inadequate plates. EG., no side plates.

The only sofa style seating in the lounge was a pull out divan bed and it was extremely uncomfortable as anywhere you sat the metal parts of the bed stuck into your bottom. It was also very low and hopeless for a disabled person to get out of.

The Bealey Plaza Motel was a very nice refuge from the rain during a rather wet pair of nights in Christchurch. As a storm hit the area, my ferry to the North Island got cancelled and the hotel staff kindly let me use their phone to make the necessary re-arrangements. They also let me use the laundry room to clean my clothes even after it was supposed to be closed.
