Wonderful
Very friendly and accommodating hosts both on arrival and also providing a timely complimentary lift to the scenic train departure station. Great facilities in the ground floor room. Great price for a city break.
Chose it for its location near to the scenic train station but quite a long way out of the city and close to a busy and noisy main road and still a fair drive to the scenic train. Otherwise all good.

Had to haul bags upstairs and my 85 year old mother found the stair steep. The door didn't seem to lock properly, it worked some times not all the time.

Manageress was exceptionally helpful, let us check in early. She was knowledgeable and very informative advising where to go and what to do in our time in Christchurch. She even took us to the train station at 6am free of charge. She was amazing and I can not recommend her more highly

Location was convenient for our needs and it was clean as it could be for an older style room
Being a dog friendly room it was strange that it was at the top apartment and not down stairs for easier access to the grass area and the bathroom could do with some maintenance
