Quiet close to Ponsonby rd, very walkable
I almost couldnt get into the lock box for my key but figured it out, phew!

Central location with easy access to everywhere.
Single beds that are all on the ground, no bunk beds.
Car parking was easy but needs to be within specific time frame to be free.
(Or get lucky to park within the Verandahs car parks)
Automatic light functions in a few bathrooms too fast.
Triggering an "off" sequence in the middle of a shower when it's dark.
The general size of the beds are small without any guard rails around them, if you're tall there might be issues.

Location was great, felt safe in the hostel.
The toilets were slightly inconvenient if someone had had a shower but it was ok and I didnt mind much.

Amazing place to stay. I was looking for a chill hostel to stay and spend the day using the facilities like the living room and garden. Honestly, the place was much better than I expected. Family vibes, good kitchen, great rooms, good showers, beautiful garden and living room.
The only thing I would improve or add would be lockers in the rooms just to keep in a safe and secure place your belongs.

Wonderful place to stay in Auckland, just next to the park with a huge backyard and living room to relax.
The staff is amazing and very helpful for anything!!
We came back there at the end of my trip because we loved it so much!
