I’ve never stayed somewhere with bedbugs before this. My legs and feet as well as the other person who slept in a separate bed were eaten alive. Across the street from a school so traffic and noise is a lot

Wonderful
Motel was centrally located, lots of food places for meals. Back off the road, so didn't hear the road traffic.
Outside is looking a bit rundown. No internal lock in the room.

Location was great because it was close to Trust Arena where I went to a concert. The room and bed were comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was close to public transport and restaurants.
It would have been good to have a USB socket in the room or at least be able to borrow a USB plug at reception. Luckily I still have enough power on my portable power bank.

Bed is comfortable, pillow selection option is great. Customer service at front desk was great, very welcoming and prompt.
Best thing is plenty of available car parks, location is good out West Akl as the training was in Khyber Pass which was very congested and had no parking available.
The drainage in the shower and hand basin was very slow. Otherwise, all was great.

Having to go to the front desk for filtered water or mild for tea, is inconvenient.
Towels a bit scratchy, Shower head is split. Aircon remote did not work.

The room was decent size. The shower definately has good pressure and doesnt take long to heat up. Lots of places to go to to eat so either a short walk or a short drive if you want to check out what there is to eat. Apart from that room was good for what we needed it for. Plenty of carpark spaces.
Only had the basic cups and spoons. But no cutlery or a few plates or bowls if needed. Bathroom had a bit of condensation as there is no extractor fan only the window above and there was no toilet brush in the room I stayed in.
Also just an observation the fire alarms had gone off and we exited the room, but wasnt sure where the assembly point was as it wasnt mentioned at check in. Might be handy to know when checking in should that happen again.
