Loved the beds, had the best sleep
It would be nice if when I book a room with a balcony that it actually has a balcony that you can walk out onto and sit on. I booked a room specifically for the balcony but what we were given you absolutely can not use that as a balcony cause you cant even step outside the bedroom

Enormous rooms, with all appliances in room (washing machine, microwave, fridge, etc). Location close by the action but quiet. Very friendly staff.

Amazing spacious suite in central Auckland on the edge of a park. The staff were totally amazing. We had one small issue with the room which was attended to immediately, non of this "we'll send someone up" that you often get. Really friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Exceptional. Will definitely stay again

The pillows, they were too high for us. Would be good to have two different types of the four bed pillows.

Avani was clean, and provided a lot of common space for a one bedroom apartment. Book one with a balcony, as we did, for lovely city/harbour views. The staff were welcoming and the apartment was within easy walking distance to central downtown sites, restaurants, the train, and bars.
Bring ear plugs for Friday and Saturday night stays as this city is really alive all night long. (We did and there was no issue)

This is a lovely apartment in a great location near the CBD and the university. There are lots of options for sightseeing and dining within walking distance.

Spacious room with TV and kitchen. Appliances were great to have in the room. Pretty good location to eating places and attractions.
Our pillows had a funky smell...I had the thought that maybe the sheets had not been washed since the last customers or that detergent had not been used during washing. The pillows especially, so I ended up not wanting to use the pillows. I hope that this is not the case and that new sheets are put onto the bed each time a person checks out. Its smelled like someone else's head funk was left on the pillow sheets. I should have said something to reception now looking back, instead of just dealing with it. Parking was pricey but I understand why. Not alot of parking in the city.

Centrally located but not in the touristy part of CBD.
A moldy smell came out of the shower drain and the dryer didn’t work. Someone came and fixed the dryer but we couldn’t change rooms so we had to live with the smell.
