Wonderful
The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful in providing information we were looking for.
There was no lift in the building. So we have to take stairs to our 3rd floor. For light travelers this may not be a problem but for those with heavy luggage may need to request for the lower floor.

Had air conditioner. Bed was okay.
Very old and run down, cracks and marks on the walls, etc
Very bright flood light outside room that stayed on all night; made it impossible to sleep without eyemask. Told owner but did nothing about it. Had to purchase an eyemask to sleep the following night.
Only one flat pillow per person, not comfortable.

The hallways absolutely smelt of carpet cleaner or mould cleaner - it was hurrendous.

Big, comfy bed, big room with chairs to sit in. Large windows,air conditioning that made the room just right
TV didn’t work. Staff was notified but it was never fixed. Shower had great water pressure but was a little small in size. We were on the second floor but there was no elevator. We had to walk up 2 sets of stairs then walk down a set of stairs to get to our room.

Great location. Nice welcoming staff. Big room. Very comfy bed. Clean.
While the room was a little old, we had no problems with that. However as we were there 2 nights we discovered what appeared to be lack of maintenance issues. Wardrobe doors didnt slide freely, fridge didnt stay shut, after using aircon, water dripped all over carpet edge. When my husband was having an early shower on last morning, there was a flash or flame in the fan in shower, followed by loss of power, lights in bathroom and main area of unit. The reception person tried to reset fuse from office when notified, which caused flames again in bathroom fan. I'm sure this will be attended to by manager but left us concerned about the general safety and maintenance. A pity, as on paper a good budget property.

Very spacious room and the staff were very accommodating and helpful - any issues we had (i.e. the aircon setting, more milk, extra towels) were resolved right away.
The bathroom was a little tired and could do with a refresh - the shower drain cover was loose and there was what looked like water damage to the vanity.
