Big clean room and a comfortable bed. Appreciated the complimentary shuttle to the airport at 5:00 in the morning

I rearranged my plans, which was a long long drive, to stop at BK's for a night. And it was exactly the right thing to do.
I did a single night stay here a few weeks ago and was so impressed It was easy to just book this up and Stay again.

The motel gave us a late check out because of our flights.
They also run a free shuttle from and to the airport.
The rooms are newly renovated and really comfy with a kitchen.
Walking distance to a few restaurants.
The staff are amazing, top notch people.
Nothing to complain about.

For an older motel building, it was very nice inside. Rooms must have been renovated sometime in last few years. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Kitchenette was a bonus. Discovered free laundry although I didn’t use it. Close to airport and free shuttle are probably their best assets. Smooth shuttle ride.
The only negative was a bit of road noise and a little noise from neighboring rooms. Walls and windows aren’t fully insulated. But not horrible by any means.

This place exceeded all expectations. I chose it because it's very close to the airport and I flew in too late to drive anywhere. But the quality and size of the unit, the friendliness and care of the staff truly set me back at what a fine job they're doing.
If I ever need Airport accommodation, or need to be anywhere on that end of Auckland, I'll be staying at BKs!

Exceptional location near the airport and bus links. Not convenient to go into the city but can take public bus to airport and then airport bus to CBD. Staff goes out of the way assist. Free shuttle to airport.
A little noisy with truck traffic starting around 4 am. Perfect if you have an early flight.

BK has always been my motel of choice when travelling or picking up family via Auckland Airport - its always spotlessly clean and staff are helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised how spacious and clean the room was. It had a small table, two recliners, a small kitchenette, and good sized bathroom. There was free airport pick up and drop off which was nice. There are also two washing machines and dryers that are free to use, but need to purchase laundry detergent from the reception desk. It is within walking distance to YES rentals if you are picking up or returning a rental car.
There was at least one room that had a heavy smoker so you could smell smoke when you were outside. The location isn't great if you are looking for close restaurants or things to do within walking distance.
