Beautiful idyllic location next to the lake with peaceful garden and the most kind and helpful staff. We stayed twice, before and after our trek and they were very accommodating, holding our extra luggage and answering any questions we had. Highly recommend.

One of the most enjoyable hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The experience started with a wonderful welcome. We booked our rooms through Booking, and I was traveling with a friend who had stayed at the hotel two years earlier — and they actually remembered him. That alone felt very special. The welcome was warm and genuine. This is a family-run business by a lovely family, and I got to know a staff member named Sushant, who was kind, friendly, and very helpful. The hotel offers a variety of room options. I personally wanted a room with a Western-style bathroom for comfort, and he helped me change rooms until I was completely satisfied. I ended up with a ground-floor room that had a private garden, which I shared with a German traveler who played guitar and sheet music — a detail that truly added to the magic of the experience. This place is special. It’s close to the lake, and at night the entrance is closed for security reasons, but there is always designated access for guests returning later. I would absolutely come back to this hotel.

Like a garden of Eden in the midst of tourist chaos. Peaceful and relaxing. Staff very helpful; and though did not partake of the meal service (I think there was one bc I saw people eating on site) from what I saw it looked good. Unless they ordered out. I had a special request for hot water in the morning for coffee and oats and they provided it happily.

Great price; exceptionally clean; very helpful staff. I asked for hot water in morning to sit outside with a cup of coffee. They were very accommodating. Nice way to start my day. Good wifi.

Exelent location. Very near to lake, restaurants, and away from busy points of street. Beautiful courtyard. . Everything very clean And all the staffs helpfull and good.
Bed was a little small for me. But not a big problem.

The staff are very attentive and easy to communicate with, We couldn’t stay in the room booked as the mattress was a little too hard for us, they did try to make it a little more comfortable for us but we upgraded to a softer mattress. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, there’s fly-screens on the windows so you can open the windows and let the cool breeze in at night. Not a far walk from the lake and there’s lots of restaurants near by. Wifi works well. The bus we took from Kathmandu basically dropped us at the end of the street.

Place was nice and cozy. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Location was less than 5 minute walk from Phewa lake. Instead of high commode the room we stayed in had low commode. And no bidet. Other than that our stay was good.

Charging for water, basic rooms are really basic, but have bathroom attached which is a plus :) been too cold under the blanket only one night.

Wonderful
New Tourist Guest House is run by a very friendly family and staff. The location a little south of lakeside is a max. 10 minute walk from the center and still surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars and other hotels. It has a cute little yard to relax.

For the price range, I think its the best one. We were there at the new year eve so price went little up but its was a good stay so far as we booked it last moment.
Shower was not working properly. Slippers were super old. Just very small issues I think.

The location is really good, the garden is pretty, and the room and bathroom are clean. The owner and staff are all friendly, and the hot water comes out really well. There are restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, and a lake nearby. It's a perfect location. I had a comfortable rest. Thank you~^^~
