The guest house is in a quiet area and close to a pleasant city park on the lake.
There’s a car park across the street and occasionally the chattering tourists are loaded into the vehicles paying no mind that some people might be sleeping at 6-7 a.m..

New summit was such a pleasure to stay in, we stayed for 2 nights before our trek and Raj kindly kept our bags for 10 days before having us back for 2 nights post-trek. The room was clean and the solar shower was really hot and powerful. Spacious rooms and kind host. 15 minute walk from the lakeside which made it nice and quiet for the evenings.

Mr Raj takes great pride in his guest house and its beautiful garden. From the welcome drink to the comfortable room , the meticulously kept garden to the delicious breakfast and from the fascinating conversation to the perfect location, this place in Pokhara really shines. An oasis in the middle of the city that you should consider for a perfect stay in Pokhara.
There is nothing not to like.

Mr Raj is a really good guy with lots of knowledge of the area.

Breakfast is really good.
Quiet at night which is my #1 priority. It’s far enough, but not too far, off the main lake road to aid quietness.

Mattress was pretty good too
Bathroom floor doesn’t drain well after a shower but plastic slippers are provided for future nocturnal visits. This didn’t bother me but may put some off
The light that can be switched on immediately upon entering the room is hopeless but there is a far better light on the other side. This light should be available immediately on entry by not having its switch on the far side. OK I'm being petty.

The place to stay in Pokhara! A little, beautiful oasis, run by a true gentleman who goes above and beyond to make your experience personable, warm, memorable and authentic. My favourite part of Pokhara was talking to Raj and hearing about his life story
My only regret is not staying longer and playing chess with Raj - I'll be back!

We had a great stay. Raj was so welcoming and friendly. Raj helped us book tourist buses for our onward travel and he helped with our laundry. The guest house is a short walk away from the lake. Would recommend this place to stay in Pokhara.

24-hour running hot shower was the highlight for me. Breakfast was fulfilling, Raj was extremely helpful. When we were running late to catch our bus to Kathmandu, he went out of his way to arrange a taxi for us that came within minutes.
The location on the map is slightly confusing. If you're walking from Pokhara street towards the guest house, it will show you a road on the map which takes you to the guest house however that route was closed when we were navigating and it was very close to the stay. We then had to take the other route. This happened a couple of times and was probably the only part that I didn't like. Rest was amazing!!!
