I am so taken with how wonderful the New Annapurna Guest House is. I arrived in Pokhara after completing the Manaslu Circuit Trek and had booked one night at the New Annapurna Guest House, which turned into 3 nights, and then turned in to 2 further return trips there, using it as a home base. I stayed in 2 different rooms and I'm not sure which one I liked better, both were well appointed with comfortable and tasteful furnishings. The first couple of days I was there, I had a cold and needed to recover from the trek. The room with a small balcony was perfect for feeling comfortable and secure and I regained my health quickly. I enjoyed sitting in the common areas on the stairwell balcony's, as well as up on the rooftop where there are mountain views. The garden/courtyard area for breakfast was peaceful and breakfast was freshly and individually prepared and served to guests liking. Surya, the owner and manager, was repeatedly beyond helpful. He helped get several bus tickets for me, and pointed me in the right direction anytime I asked where might I find... (fill in the blank with whatever you may be looking for.). I also was able to leave my large bag that I did not need on the trips I took away from Pokhara, returning to the New Annapurna Guesthouse after. Surya made it easy for me to travel around and was flexible with my indecision as I debated what I wanted to do next. The most memorable experience here was when I asked where I could get the stools I had been seeing all over Nepal, and he let me know they are made locally at the prison, and then he took me there on a walk with his son to get the stools I so wanted to bring home. The New Annapurna Guest House is a long time family fun business, and Surya's family, both older and younger generations, all add to the welcoming feel and security found within a content family. I highly recommend staying at the New Annapurna Guest House, and hope to someday return!

This friendly guesthouse occupies several floors of a small group of buildings in a secure compound. Five minutes walk to the lake. There's a small organic farm at the back, with fruit trees (apple, banana, mango, coffee, papaya), all of which goes into a healthy and delicious breakfast. The owner and staff are very welcoming and work hard to make your stay enjoyable. The place is very clean, quiet day and night, everything works, there was a desk and chair in my room, so working with a laptop was no problem. Fabulous view of the snow-covered peaks from the top floor! Strongly recommended!
The whiff from the cowshed takes some getting used to, especially at night. Wifi was slow in the evening.

The breakfast was excellent-organic produce from the hotel's own garden and all served in a beautiful and peaceful courtyard. Surya, the hotel manager, was very helpful. He suggested numerous day trip ideas and then set up the ones I chose to see.

Apart from the location, which is a bit far from the main center by foot (about 20–30 minutes), New Annapurna Guesthouse is honestly one of the best places I’ve stayed at during my travels. For a very affordable price, I got a clean, cozy room, a generous and delicious breakfast, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. The guesthouse has a beautiful, peaceful garden and very well-maintained facilities that make it feel like a little oasis. The family who runs the place is incredibly kind and attentive—they made sure we had everything we needed and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. If you're okay with a bit of walking or taking taxis/bikes, I wholeheartedly recommend this place. It’s a gem!

This is a wonderful guest house with very friendly staff and owner. They were very helpful and welcoming. This place feels like a little community. We liked having our breakfast in the garden area amongst all the plants. They grove things like guava, papaya, and coffee all of which they use in their breakfasts. Despite being a bit of a walk to the main Lakeside area, we liked the location as it felt quieter and more peaceful.

Annapurna guest house was beautiful from the moment we walked into the front garden. The host was very friendly and was accommodating for our early breakfast needs and provided hairdryer when asked. The room was stunning and the shower was so powerful and hot whenever we tried it. We had a little set of table and chairs on the balcony outside our room and that was a great touch as we got some fresh air to do some planning without having to walk to a cafe

Owner of the place is super friendly and attentive, helpful and kind. Their garden is very beautiful, grow loads of trees and flowers. Fresh Papaya and guava from the breakfast was from their garden. He arranged taxis and tours, everything went so easy and smoothly. Very good location. lake and shops, restaurents are only 1 min away on foot. I defo will come back here again in a future.
