Maya the owner at MingTang is all any traveler need to meet in Nepal. She is of the best advice for everything from going around, dinning and tourism or just fixing any "make my life better" in a snappy way.
The facility is clean, restful, nicely decorated and perfectly located with all the conveniences at walking distance by the lake side of Pokhara. Just dont feed Yahoo the Golden Lab who is an attraction of his own so this doggie is lovely.
Maya is a generous person, highly flexible and professional as much as attentive to any details. While greatly assisted by a very kind mgr Maya is always keen to make herself available to customers with a big smile.
There is little to nothing to dislike at MingTang.

We treated ourselves to a stay at Mingtang after 21 days trekking the Annapurna circuit and it was exactly what we needed. Such a restful place to enjoy breakfast in the garden and unwind in the spacious rooms. The shower was amazing, great pressure hot shower and all the thoughtful little things that Maya, the owner has considered! Highly recommend a stay here. The staff are so kind and helpful and Yahoo, the golden lab is so adorable!

The hotel is a hidden gem in Pokhara. If I had to characterize it by one word, it woud be COZINESS. The receptionist was super kind. He prepared a pot with a delicious tea while we vere waiting for the key. Then he helped us to carry our luggage to our room. Next day he prepared a delicious breakfast and arranged a taxi for us. The garden is spacious, quiet and inviting. The dining rooms are super cozy and original. All spaces are enriched by dozens of tiny details such as statuettes or other original decorations, which made us feel like in a warm home. The room was clean and the bathroom had a large square tub that was very useful. We 100% recommend this place.

The hotel was perfect! It is situated on the edge of Lakeside, which allows easy access to all the main points in Pokhara, whilst also being peaceful and quiet. The tranquility is helped by the beautiful gardens and layout of the hotel, which is set back from the road. The gardens are also a lovely setting for breakfast, and the breakfasts that we had on each of our four mornings were varied and plentiful.
The rooms are clean, comfortable well appointed and well maintained.
Special mention to Chandra who runs the hotel, one of the most lovely people you could ever meet!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, and Maya was such an incredible host. The property is lovely, the room was fantastic, and the breakfasts were amazing.
Maya, her staff, and her dog Yahoo truly made my time in Pokhara extra special. The location is perfect, just steps from the main Lakeside street with cafés and restaurants, yet still peaceful and quiet.
By far my favorite place I stayed during my trip. I cannot recommend Mingtang Boutique enough.

We loved how peaceful and tucked away it is, with a beautiful garden. Our room was comfortable and thoughtfully decorated with lovely little details. The breakfasts were homemade and prepared with care, and Chandra was kind, helpful, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The dog, Yahoo, was a friendly companion and added to the cozy atmosphere :)
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property itself; everything was comfortable and welcoming.
*Just a note for other travelers: Pokhara is still a busy city (though quieter than Kathmandu), so there’s not really escaping the city sounds completely when you’re staying in the city.

This is our 2nd time staying in Mingtang’s Boutique Cottage. The last time we stayed was 2 years ago and when we returned this time we got a beautiful warm welcome. The property is really lovely, well kept, clean, the rooms really cosy and the breakfast is generous and tasty.

Wonderful place tucked away in a beautiful garden but near to everything. Comfortable bed and good bathroom with super friendly and helpful staff.
