Billabong Garden is a perfect example of how a budget hotel can still provide an exceptional experience. Located in a prime area, it’s close to everything yet peaceful enough to relax and enjoy your stay. The atmosphere is very nice — calm, cozy, and welcoming.
The staff are outstanding, always smiling and ready to help with anything you need. The cleanliness is fine and well maintained, making it a comfortable place to stay without any hassle.
A big thank you to the owner, Shasi, whose friendly nature and genuine hospitality truly make this place special. You can feel that he cares about every guest’s comfort.
Highly recommended for travelers looking for a clean, affordable, and friendly hotel in a prime location. I’d definitely stay here again!

Great location. Very friendly staff. We were unable to use ac due to a city-wide power outage and they refunded us the 5 dollars we paid extra for ac. Honest folks! The room was very nice and big too.
The room was very clean, but the bathroom was incredibly moldy. I got a cold in Pokhara and I wonder if it was from the mold. Keep the bathroom door closed as much as possible.

Great location if you want to close to the action by the lake. Good restaurants across the street. Good hospital across street which we needed.
Bathroom walls needed better cleaning. Been no close to the action means loud people coming home at 3 am in the hallways

I stayed a lt the billabong garden in for two nights. The rooms were nice, and the location in lakeside is amazing. The two hired staff workers are friendly, though I was glad to meet the owner on my second night where he kindly helped me arrange my buss fair for the next morning. I would highly recommend.

The host family is very welcoming and hospitable. They were at the reception desk to check me in even though it was a national holiday in Nepal and everything was closed. They even included me in their festival rituals.
The bathroom was clean but the toilet did not have a functional flush system. I think this was a fluke for my room only however.

The location is absolutely perfect… the staff and the owners were very friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very good choice if you want to stay in Pokhara and enjoy

Great hotel conveniently located right next to the lakeside district where all of the restaurants and bars are located. Comfortable clean beds with a powerful shower and clean toilet. Great hospitality and brilliant value altogether. Would recommend. Air con very good also

The host was an honest man and guided us with alacrity and proactively. He helped us save time and money with his authentic recommendations. He also made many calls to facilitate services for us without any specific benefit for himself.
