The host was very helpful and friendly provided some really good insights and helped with our travel arrangements as well. Room was comfortable and had two windows from where we can see the annapurna mountain ranges and the fishtail mountain. The view was spectacular from the room.
No water dispensers at the property, had to purchase it from the outside but the shops are like within 1 min walk from the property so manageable. Wifi was a little slippery, the speed wasn't that good so we kept getting disconnected from the internet, but we had our Hotspot on so we did not rely much on the hotel wifi.

The location was perfect for us. Close to many restaurants, boating and shopping in Pokhara. Water provided daily, very comfortable bed & a pretty room. Very quiet area. Staff were friendly.
The hotel needs some tender loving care and it’s age is showing. I didn’t have hot water at anytime but my traveling friends did.

Room quality was very poor. Bedsheets were torn and unhygienic. Very uncomfortable stay.
• The room was not maintained properly. Bedding was damaged and overall cleanliness was unsatisfactory.
• Extremely uncomfortable night due to poor room condition and torn sheets.
Totally annoying stay — poor staff, bad location, and the top-floor room felt like a storage room. Very uncomfortable.

The staff was not that coperative in the way of talking and seemed arrogant in the beginning and least interested. He meant to say that in this price this is what you get.

I have visited Pokhara many times and stayed in a lot of hotels there. Diplomat and just one other make up my short list now. I dont see the need to look elsewhere now, unless both are booked out. Hotel Diplomat is consistently good and reliable. With my advancing years, I particularly welcome the accessibility, a vehicle brings you right to front door. Also accessibility to the main business area of Lakeside, while being tucked away in a quiet lane.
I cant think of anything that I didnt like. Consistently good.

Comfortable, clean and central hotel. Staff could be more helpful and sometimes seemed reluctant to assist. Safe drinking water was not always available or was of poor quality.

The toilet could use a good scrub. You can't sit on your own balcony because it's too small. You can sit on the balcony in front if you want that.

Room, balcony, Hot water in the washroom and most importantly the peaceful environment and the housekeeper, who was so polite at all times during the stay.
Washrooms were not practically comfortable, though it was well clean.
