Wonderful
Beautiful hotel with a very, very good breakfast — truly excellent. The staff was super attentive and welcoming. The room was a little small, but very tidy and comfortable.
The parking is about one block away and needs to be paid separately, but overall it worked well

The breakfast was really good. High quality products, ample space, attentive personnel. Along with the friendliness of the reception staff, the two most worthy aspects of our stay. Do choose a DELUXE room with the wonderful window corner desk space. It is really worth it.
Very small closet, only a few hangers, lack of slippers. Very small space at the sides of the bed. It barely fit a smart phone.

The Clarion Stavanger has excellent facilities, clean, and very comfortable. The beds were perfect for sleeping, though there was some outside traffic noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the provided breakfast was well prepared, with an ample selection of healthful items.

Good location, walkable to the harbour/main attractions. Breakfast was good. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and had all the basic amenities, even had a kettle as well which was great for us! Overall a good stay, would recommend.
There was no on-site parking, we parked at P-St. Olav nearby. One of the pillows was huge which was awkward to sleep with.

Breakfast was very good, excellent options and quality. The location is central and walkable being very near the min bus/train station. The staff were knowledge and helpful, we enjoyed our interaction with them.
Our bathroom didn't have a lock, which wasn't super problematic but it was odd and annoying. The hotel was very loud, with music through the night from the floor below us keeping us awake. I've never stayed in a hotel where the hotel itself was too loud to easily sleep. Everything else was just fine.

Décor is a bit dated but a super friendly staff and people. Amenities were comfortable and felt comfortable be homey.

The only hotel (all in the same price point) in Norway we stayed at which had a small side table, which was great to lounge in. Good use of space with a small entry corridor, so the main room felt more spacious.
Pillows were very comfortable with one large one for sitting upright in bed and another small one for your head to lay on - very thoughtful. Very large selection for breakfast buffet.
The doors do not auto-lock when you leave the room, you need to swipe to close the room.
No on site parking, but you can park in the underground carpark located directly next door for NOK 350 per 24 hours.
Bathroom sink was large but the shower was a little narrow (built over a tub), and the water pressure was weaker than expected.

Disappointing
I appreciated the good breakfast and coffee/tea in the room.
No washcloths, no bathmat, no Kleenex, no room safe, teeny tiny half circle ledges for the bedside tables, and the door had major locking problems - it took 1-2 mins after shutting the door for the locking mechanism to kick in. We had the front desk change the batteries and this only helped immediately, but not after that instance. The front desk guy didn't know anything about town to be helpful. We got a city map from the front desk that was from 2022 and so blurry, you could not decipher street or building names. There was a suspicious-looking guy with a backpack that we saw several times on the elevators - the front desk guy told us he was the chef... but we saw him a little later at the bus station, and he clearly was not a chef. The lady working the downstairs bar was rude.

Within easy walking distance to sites, great breakfast included, expensive but very nice 14th floor bar with great views, clean rooms and friendly staff.
Everything was fine. No parking on site but around the corner there is options.
