Lovely hotel with comfortable furnishings and good wholesome food.
The bed is very comfortable, the view from the room is wonderful.
The breakfast was a good variety of hot and cold dishes.
They have afternoon tea, which is a bonus after all there walking around the town.
The dinner was ok, soup, salad and a main. Would have liked a couple of opinions for the main, but it tasted fine.
The bathroom was up a step, not a problem unless going in the middle of the night.

Location, food, room - clean, functional , comfortable. Everything needed for a few days stay.
Nothing really. It is designed as a short stay hotel and has everything needed for this function. It is elevated by nice touches such as afternoon cakes, dinner included in rate and umbrella hire plus books to read.

Fabulous location right on the harbour which meant everything I wanted to see or visit was walkable. Great breakfast choices of hot/cold/fruits/cereals/juices etc. The evening meal is included in the price - I only ate in on one night as I refer to explore good restaurants on my trips, but on that one night the chilli con carne was good. The room was described as a "compact single" but was quite spacious, with a 3/4 bed, a large desk, a harbour view, and a great bathroom with walk-in shower - outstanding! All staff I encountered were helpful and friendly.
One concern is the glass shower screen has no fenestration on the edge and it would be easy to hit it when turning from the wash hand basin to geta towel from the rail.

The food was excellent throughout my stay — great breakfast choices, a delicious dinner, and a lovely homemade cake for fika. The location is fantastic, with beautiful views from the windows. The staff were kind, welcoming, and very helpful. My room was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
I had requested a room with a harbor view, but it wasn’t available when I arrived. As a result, I had to spend the first night in a room at the back of the hotel and move to a front-facing room the next morning. In the rear room, there was only one working power socket near the bed.
The following day, however, the staff kindly managed to make the new room available before 11:00, so I didn’t have to leave my luggage at reception. The harbor-view room was excellent and definitely worth the move.

Due to the hotel being located closely to nightlife venues, you can expect a lot of noise at night in the weekend. This is by no means the hotels fault, though. Just good to be aware of, and easily fixable with some earplugs
