Voksenasen is truly a wonderful gem of Oslo. We were very satisfied with service and think that it is an extraordinary value for money. Staff is very welcoming, architecture and art are brilliant, shared spaces are warmly and tastefully furnished and impeccably clean. View is breathtaking. Breakfast was neatly served and had many things in the offer. You can also enjoy the sauna during your stay. Keep in mind that hotel is on the mountain just north of Oslo and even if served by metro (which with its winding route is attraction for itself), reaching hotel will take some time. As a reward you would get great views and wonderful air.

Useful Facilities in the lobby such as tea and coffee machine.
Breakfast was ok.

Clean and modern hotel in good location for discovering Oslo and the surrounding area. Very modern and minimalistic design with a very good variety of breakfast goods.
The rooms are very small, but this does mostly not come into effect since you will be out discovering the area anyhow.

Some places you stay at are nice, and then there are places you immediately feel you’d happily come back to. This hotel was definitely the latter.
We loved everything about it: the beautiful location, the hotel itself, the views, our lovely room and the excellent breakfast. Everything you need is either right there or within easy reach.
After a short trip through the south of Norway, we arrived by car and left it in the hotel car park. We then took the metro (25min) into the centre of Oslo, which was so easy — and much cheaper and more relaxing than taking the car into the city.
What we especially loved was the surroundings. You can simply step outside and set off on one of the many beautiful hiking trails. We even walked to a lovely restaurant nearby, which made the stay feel even more special.
And finally, the people make a place. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived.
We genuinely loved our stay here. It was the perfect combination of comfort, nature, convenience and genuine hospitality. We will definitely be back when we return to Norway! ❤️
