The hotel is located right next to Aker Brygge and Tjuvholmen which abounds in great restaurants and bars. Close by you can also find Astrup Fernly museum, Nobels peace scenter and the new National museum. Our colorful rooms have good ventilation, a fridgerator and TV with Chromecast connection. Upgraded rooms also have coffee machine, bath robes and slippers. The breakfast buffet is served every morning in our restaurant, Holmen. In our 24 hours open reception you can help yourself with coffee and tea (included in the rate). Less then a five minute walk from the hotel you have both trams and buses that will take you around the city. A 8 minute walk from the hotel you can also find the train station, Nationaltheatere, where trains will take you to Oslo Airport Gardermoen.

Breakfast, reception, rooms were comfortable.
The safe didn't work , kept getting an error message, the coffee/espresso maker didn't work, and the AC - you coudn't turn it down. The wifi was very week in the room. I was in a newly reonnvated room.

We liked this Hotel for its proximity to museums, the water, and public transportation. We loved it for its breakfast and friendly and accommodating staff. For Americans, hotels in Norway are expensive, and this one was lower in price than many, but still delivered everything we required and hoped for in a hotel.

Bathroom, room and location are ok, but I'll give a feedback on location in dislikes as well.
I arrived with a car and navigation lead me to a tunnel underground. When I ignored that, I had really hard time finding the hotel - it is getting renovated and the entrance is covered - not visible, plus it is poorly accessible by car and poorly marked. The breakfast is rather basic for the 4* hotel.

The breakfast was great, the room provides a lot of space and a desk to work from the room.
There was construction going on, the parking lot offered did not have adequately sized spaces, the cleaning was average (clumps of hair on the floor), and one of the duvets was quite worn (holes).

There was still scaffolding up and some drilling early in the morning The restaurant does a good breakfast but does not do dinners. Feels a bit soulless
