The hotel is located right next to Aker Brygge and Tjuvholmen which abounds in great restaurants and bars. Close by you can also find Astrup Fernly museum, Nobels peace scenter and the new National museum. Our colorful rooms have good ventilation, a fridgerator and TV with Chromecast connection. Upgraded rooms also have coffee machine, bath robes and slippers. The breakfast buffet is served every morning in our restaurant, Holmen. In our 24 hours open reception you can help yourself with coffee and tea (included in the rate). Less then a five minute walk from the hotel you have both trams and buses that will take you around the city. A 8 minute walk from the hotel you can also find the train station, Nationaltheatere, where trains will take you to Oslo Airport Gardermoen.

Breakfast was awesome! loved it!
I asked to be in a quiet room, they upgraded me to be in a quiet area but was woken exactly at 7am by a jackhamer that sounded like it was in the room next store. I forgot a drink in my room but there is no direct lift to the section of the hotel I was sataayying so I had to get a lift from the other side of the bulding and walk all the way arround. (there is a lift near my yroom but there is a one way door to get out not to go back in that way. soo I just left it rather than doing the 20 min maze walk aarround the differnet floors. if you are arriving late the doors are all locked, the phone number on the door was not working for the 3 people waiting to get in. after googling other numbers we found a number for another hotel chain that called this hotel to let us in, we were outsisde for about 40 minis trying to get in (I was looking at booking another hotel by this point).

Location was perfect for where we needed to be. Parking garage just across the street. Decent breakfast.
Hotel entrance is very hard to find as it inside a conference center and not visible from the street. Room was spacious, while the bathroom was very (yes very) small. We stayed in January and our room was terribly hot and no way to regulate the temperature. A very small part of the window could be opened, but since it opened into the atrium there was no fresh air anyway.

I had a spacious room with desk, sofa and chair. There was an enclosed shower stall in the bathroom, hence no water flowing on the bathroom floor. My room, and the facilities in general were very clean. The lift is card activated for security reasons. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast room was spacious and attractive and the breakfast selection was quite good. The hotel's location is excellent in that it is a stone's throw from Aker Brygge, a waterfront residential and commercial area with numerous cafes, bars and restaurants.
There was a clothes rack and an ample number of clothes hangers in my room, but no closet space. Hence, much of the clothes stayed in the suitcase. Apart from the breakfast room, there is no restaurant for hotel guests. Hence, there was no food, snacks or coffee to be had there after breakfast. There was no telephone in my room, something that could be a problem for seniors during an emergency.

I really like the Vika Atrium as it has the perfect position to the public transport and the shore side. Super for business and evening activity. And a tremendous breakfast. Even better since the "upgrade" last summer
