The hotel is located right next to Aker Brygge and Tjuvholmen which abounds in great restaurants and bars. Close by you can also find Astrup Fernly museum, Nobels peace scenter and the new National museum. Our colorful rooms have good ventilation, a fridgerator and TV with Chromecast connection. Upgraded rooms also have coffee machine, bath robes and slippers. The breakfast buffet is served every morning in our restaurant, Holmen. In our 24 hours open reception you can help yourself with coffee and tea (included in the rate). Less then a five minute walk from the hotel you have both trams and buses that will take you around the city. A 8 minute walk from the hotel you can also find the train station, Nationaltheatere, where trains will take you to Oslo Airport Gardermoen.

The best of this stay was the breakfast and the location of the Hotel.
First thing was that this hotel is having major construction ongoing and noisy work is starting at 7:00am weekdays. I was not aware about this before booking but got a message after I have already booked a non-cancellable room. That is not fair. But absolutely unacceptable during this stay was the noisy room - we had 2 nights with little to no sleep due to AC ventilator noise inside the room which we could not turn off. We informed the staff but they could not solve this issue for 2 nights. I have to say that the staff was very friendly and tried to help us, it was not in their control but our stay was not what we would have wished for.

Ok room - clean and all you need was available. Cooled as well (hot summer days in Norway ;) )
At the time of our booking, they were some constructions works ongoing and despite that the receptionist did a great effort to minimize the troubles, we got a wakeup call at 0700 with a symphony of hammer noises and drills.

Oh my goodness, the bed felt like a cloud after 36 hours of travel!
A little bit of noise due to construction in the atrium area, but we were pre-warned and it didn't happen during the night.

The hotel is located in a walk distance from the train station and the ferry harbor. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a large selection, everything was very good and fresh. Room was comfortable and modern.
The only downside during my stay was the ongoing renovation of big part of the building (rooms were not affected), but it should be finished soon.

Construction inside and out was not announced. We woke up from drilling noises. We had to walk to breakfast in an area where people wore helmets.. The staffmember upon arrival was not friendly.

The hotel reception staff were extremely helpful and informative, and the breakfast room staff were very friendly..... definitely service with a smile first thing in the morning. We had a very comfortable room, with all we needed. This hotel is just on the perimeter of the harbour area, filled with fantastic restaurants, just a short walk and you're in the heart of Oslo.
Unfortunately, our visit to Oslo coincided with the building work within the hotel, so it was very noisy from early morning, and again in the early evening. However, I do recognize that the building work has to be done for the improvement of the hotel facilities, and it will be a magnificent addition when finished.
