Comfortable clean room. Thank you for the early check in. The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had. Great coffee, great selection of breakfast food and high quality food.
Colour of decor a bit overwhelming. Too much dark blue in lobby and hallways

Staff were friendly and helpful.
Great location for getting around the city. 2 min walk from metro and 5 mins from central bus station. 10 mins from main train station.
Free coffee, snacks and fruit in reception.
Was able to check in early.
Good buffet breakfast that caters for gluten free and vegan which i appreciated.
Construction work on at the moment but hotel supplies early plugs which worked for me.

Disappointing
Please read this review if you are thinking of staying here.I've tried to be fair.It's important to note at this point that we paid £1435 to stay for 3 nights including breakfast.I would probably compare the hotel to a premier inn or travel lodge if you come from the UK.We chose the hotel due to its location to the theatre.The staff were very polite and efficient.The room was clean but the bathroom was very small.The breakfast was very good with lots of choice.Please read the, what I didn't like.
The hotel is covered in scaffolding and work is being done.This in itself is not a problem but the most crazy decision the management have made is to allow workers onto the scaffolding at 8am in the morning.Even worse, we had a worker outside our 5th floor window working at 7.37am in the morning.I did bring this up with the management but I must say, they didn't show a great deal of concern especially as the cost is nearly £500 a night.Please note, even worse, regardless of the scaffolding and work the noise outside is ridiculous with bin lorries etc way before 7am in the morning.In summary, if you can get the rooms at a much more reasonable price and don't mind being woken up early in the morning then stay but otherwise I would avoid.It's also worth noting that Oslo is an expensive city for accommodation etc.The area is good but not the best, but the hotel is located fairly close the train station and shopping etc.I've tried to fair and objective.

Location was good but other Thon hotels better located. Bed was super comfortable and a spacious shower but decor a little tired in places. The breakfast was amazing and the staff are very kind and helpful.
It was a very high price approx 6000.00 NOK a night and although a delightful stay, I would have expected more luxury at that price.

Very convenient location - just a short walk from train and bus stations and everywhere else I need to be. Large, spacious and well decorated room (much bigger than in other hotels my friends were staying in). Underfloor heating in the bathroom was great addition - very beneficial when we’d been out playing rugby in the rain! And the breakfast was superb - so much choice, I looked forward to getting out of bed each morning for it!
Obviously the outside was undergoing renovation, so wasn’t looking its best yet, but there was no inconvenience from that. In the room, the area to hang clothes was a bit small and open - so once I’d unpacked etc it made the place look untidy. But those were just minor issues

Amazing breakfast.
The building is covered with scaffolding and has very little signage. We were asked what kind of room we would like and asked for a quiet room - they put us on the top floor. Unfortunately the building work cover was not tired down very well and flapped very noisily in the wind. We asked to change rooms and this was accommodated, we moved to the wheel chair access room which was much better.

Nice location in a suave neighborhood next to river trail and some suave coffee houses. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff super nice. Breakfast was next level good.
