The location in Aker Bryyge is beautiful and with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel itself and room were beautiful too with an evening turndown service.
It's expensive, but I think porbably standard for Oslo!

Too far , room too small, the windows are facing an office building which are wide open without shade or curtain . Absolutely no privacy with office people a few hundred feet looking at your bed . Terrible design ! Very gimmicky without practically or comfort . Everything has a price including tooth brush ($10) tooth paste $10. The coffee machine is so high up , I am 5ft 3 in and I couldn’t reach it to see how to operate it . The most uncomfortable hotel ever ! The breakfast was bad too, cold eggs, like warm coffee , salty fish .. very disappointing !

In fact, it is one of the most beautiful and pleasant hotels in Oslo, Norway. I really liked how easy the check-in process was, as well as the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel is located in a very beautiful and very safe area, and the breakfast is very diverse with excellent, high-quality service. The room’s view overlooking the lake is absolutely beautiful. Honestly, everything about the hotel is wonderful in every aspect. I liked it very much, and the rooms are lovely, although they are somewhat small; however, this is generally the standard in Europe. Overall, the hotel is good and clean, and I highly recommend staying there.
There is no private parking owned by the hotel itself, even though it is a five-star property. However, the hotel cooperates with a parking facility located underneath the building, on the lower levels, but the cost is very high — approximately 550 Norwegian kroner per day. In my opinion, it would have been better if the hotel offered at least a discount for guests who have cars and use the parking regularly. From a personal point of view, five-star hotels are expected to provide the highest level of care for their guests, and paying around 550 NOK per day for parking is simply too expensive.
The second issue is that there is no luggage porter service, as is usually available in some other five-star hotels.
The third point, which really bothered me, is that the hotel charged 95 Norwegian kroner to my Visa card. When I contacted them to question this charge, they said it was taken by mistake for a toothpaste fee and that it had been refunded. However, until now, nothing has been returned to my account. This issue was very upsetting, and I hope they will refund the 95 NOK as soon as possible.

The staff was very informative and friendly. We had to checkout before breakfast and they offered a “to-go” breakfast that did not disappoint.
Room was hot and had to open the door. The outside was extremely loud due to people which is out of the hotels control.
