The location is great.
It is very very spartan and although they advertise the room as "soundproof", I heard quite a lot of noise from surrounding rooms and from the cleaning station.

Perfect location in the heart of Oslo, comfortable, staff super friendly and very clean
The size of the room was a bit small, there was not too much space for the baggage and the bathroom very minimalist....the shower was even more small and not comfortable because you hit the wall or the door

It's not a problem that the room is small, I expected that. Everything is somehow miniature, including the bed and linen and the shower cabin. There is only one large and heavy armchair that is unnecessarily standing in the room.
The heating did not work.

Location was very good. Room was clean and fairly comfortable given the compact size of Smarthotels.
The room was very cold upon arrival as the window was open. The heating wasn’t working so the room didn’t warm up. I went to reception to let them know and was given a portable heater which did the job but was quite noisy and so too loud to use during the night. There was additional bedding though that I had to use to keep warm.
My stay was at the start of March, so this may not have been a problem during warmer months.
