Exceptional
The breakfast was amazing! So many options. Location was great! We walked everywhere from our hotel. The room was large and clean.

Good location. We asked to change our room and staff was very friendly about it and we got a better room. First room was without any air or sunlight. In the morning the exhaust of cooking breakfast came right into room.

Only location of hotel was good.
The hotel was on strike, which was not communicated to us in advance so that we could have changed hotels. As a result, there was no housekeeping at all in the hotel, which in many other countries would have led to the health authorities shutting such a hotel down. No hot breakfast was served either. However, the hotel continued charging full rates as if everything was operating normally. Yes, employees have the right to strike, but I, as a customer, also have the right to receive the services I paid for; otherwise, I expect a discount. When hotel workers went on strike in Canada, we received a 35% discount and, at the same time, a bowl of fruit delivered to our room every day. Towels were still changed and the trash was taken out as well.

-Staff were unfriendly and showed little willingness to help. -The first room faced the kitchen and smelled strongly like one. When I asked to change it, the staff member came to check the room and said he couldn’t smell anything, and that it would be difficult to change since the hotel was full. They eventually switched my room after I insisted. -The first room I tried had a working air conditioner with very cold air (a rare thing to find in Norway hotels). In the second room, the AC did not work. When I asked, the staff insisted the hotel had no AC, even though the first room clearly did. Later, after trying several times, the AC actually started working! However, the window cannot be opened, so there was no way for fresh air to come in without a working AC. The staff showed no interest in resolving the issue -Overpriced ($272 per night) compared to the quality and services. -No phone in the room to contact reception, which means you have to go down in person for any request. -No tissue box provided. -No floor towel/mat in the bathroom. -Disturbing noise early in the morning from loud music and nearby street construction. -TV does not support mirroring unless you use an HDMI cable.

no english channel on tv no restaurant for dinner or lunch. I asked for cleaning but they only gave us new towels and cleaned trash. The whole room was dusty and i could feel the dust on the floor tables everywhere

This property was so easy to get to, and a great location. We were close to all the things we needed. The rooms were spotless and the buffet breakfast in the morning was perfect. Really loved the shampoo and conditioner that is provided. This was the largest room I could find at a great rate for our 3 night stay and the bed was very comfortable. Europe typically doesn’t have king sized beds that I have found so it was a treat. Highly recommend. Would stay there again definitely.
The bathroom shower is weak. I couldn’t get the water hot enough and the water pressure was not a thing. Also for some reason the shower doors aren’t sealed so water gets everywhere.

Very Good
Nice functional room. Very good beds. Excellent breakfast buffet. Great location though the main train station is a 15 min walk away.
Quality of staff at the reception rather uneven ranging from extremely helpful to useless (not even able to make restaurant suggestions)
