We booked a family room and it was very spacious. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. The room had a small fridge which was very convenient for family with kids like ours. Convenient location gave us easy access to tourist attractions
There is a limited parking available on site. When we came there was no slots left. We were told to park at the outside parking, 420 nok/24 hours

The room was dirty when we arrived, we asked for room service but they only change bed sheets and give to us new towels but they didn't clean the room.

Breakfast was fantastic. Nice and helpful staf.
The corridors were worn out, and the room was clean but a bit worn out as well. I stayed at other Scandics, and this one felt older and a bit shabbier.

Disappointing
The location.
The heating system was outdated, and we were freezing during the evening without having the possibility to adjust the temperature, and the toilet got clogged! The staff was not friendly, rather cold and everything was closed since we arrived Sunday. All in all super-dissappointing.

Hotel is well located, closer to tram and bus stop. Room is spacious, bathroom is in good condition, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Everything was clean and breakfast was good. It's very close to a tramway station.
We had very high expectations because we had just stayed in a Scandic hotel in Sweden, so we were a bit disappointed. We were put in a room for older people (or maybe people with mobility issues), so our shower head was too low and there was no shower box, and the toilet was too high. Unlike our friend's rooms, our TV was very small.

Great location, comfortable beds, good bathroom and great breakfast buffet.
No luggage racks (biggest complaint).
Also very dated interior in general (especially hallways and lobby) and minuscule elevators. And the music choice in the breakfast area was pretty bad.

The room was huge! The beds were very comfortable. The room temperature was perfect; Not too warm, not too cold. The breakfast was great as well. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. 7-23 store right across the building.
The elevators were a little tight but I'm glad that there's two! There wasn't a closet or cabinet for the clothes. Given that it was a family room, there should be at least a cabinet or two. The bathroom get's pretty wet after a shower, including the toilet bowl.

SLEEPLESS NIGHT! With a very loud and thumping nightclub just across the street, we both had a sleepless night.
This violates EU standards that a hotel should be fit for what it is made for, a restful place to sleep overnight.
Even with the windows closed it was impossible to sleep and the music was very loud from across the street.
The nightclub is open Wednesday to Sunday and the music plays extremely loud until 3 o’clock in the morning.
When we informed the management at Scandrick about this problem, they could not change us to a new room and we had to cancel our remaining nights… They also refused to refund our payment.
I took this up with the hotel corporate management on a higher level also after we had to leave the hotel and there was no help at all.
total disappointment and I would warn anyone to not book this hotel if you expect a good night of sleep
Extremely loud nightclub directly across the street that kept music going until 3 am and hotel management that was unwilling to help us or make amends for this problem
