Scandic Holmenkollen Park has opened its doors again, after extensive renovation and remodeling. The distinctive history and architecture have been meticulously preserved and complemented with modern design and solutions. The Hotel's capacity is a total of 376 guest rooms, including 27 exclusive rooms and suites in the historic Dragon Building. The Hotel also has a new and lovely wellness area with a pool and a large gym of 1,100 m2. Entrance to the wellness area has limited capacity. Age limit 16 years. Entrance from NOK 195 for staying guests, per visit to the pool & saunas. In our restaurant Holmenkollen Bistro, you can enjoy a lovely buffet for lunch. For dinner you can choose from a tasty à la carte menu, where the dishes are based on short-traveled Norwegian and Nordic ingredients. Scandic Holmenkollen Park is a destination in itself, a full 1148 feet above sea level, with fantastic views over Oslo and the Nordmarka right outside the hotel door. With immediate proximity to the Holmenkollen Skiarena National Complex, the Ski Museum and nature, you will find exciting outdoor activities for everyone. Here you have miles of hiking trails to choose from, and in winter you can go straight out on the WC trails that stretch into Nordmarka. Only minutes away from the hotel is Oslo Winter Park and in the summer you can challenge your fear of heights in one of the Nordic countries' largest climbing parks. The Hotel is only a subway ride away from the center of Oslo, it takes 30 minutes by subway from Oslo Central station to Holmenkollen station.

This is a wonderful hotel with an interesting architectural design. Free parking is available nearby—something that was very important to us since we had rented a car. We liked the location, as a famous park and a metro station are close by. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. A delicious and hearty breakfast is included in the room rate.

Absolutely stunning views from this lovely, well presented hotel. We had a family room with a view and balcony looking out over Olso Fjord. Incredible breakfast, well worth including in your stay. Family room was amazing, beds were the comfiest I've ever slept on! Can't recommend it enough and we hope to return again some day soon.
My only thought would be that the bath towels were a tiny bit small! But that would literally be my only comment. Fantastic stay.

The location is amazing - with breathtaking views over the city and Oslofjord, a lot of hiking opportunities around. And at the same time, only 20-30 minutes by metro from the city center. The view from the room was stunning too! I also enjoyed the style of the hotel and the breakfasts were amazing!

A pretty hotel with amazing panorama view on the city. The room was small but cozy. The restaurant and bar were good albeit pricey. Rich self-serve breakfast. Staff friendly and attentive.
It's a bit of a hike uphill if you use the metro esp. if carrying heavy luggage.

Nice large scale hotel high above Oslo. Excellent buffet breakfast was included. Tram is about a 10 minute walk.
Room confusion- we booked a Family room over two months ago but when we checked in they didn’t have any. We had to squeeze into a much smaller room and didn’t receive any compensation.

Location, big window room view, spacious room, quality and variety of the breakfast, extra crib was prepared as requested for my baby. Staff is very helpfull and profi. Best evening views in the lobby with a drink or snacks. The energy and calmness of the surrounding.
Filling up some form upon late arrival and late check-in. AC not user friendly and not easy to switch cooling. Dispanse bottles in the bathroom not refilled upon arrival. no shoe horn in the room coridor! Honestly for a hotel with such a big reputation i was surprised to witness it. Had a great weekend though so it didn't matter but many things could be improved in my humble opinion.
