Location, big window room view, spacious room, quality and variety of the breakfast, extra crib was prepared as requested for my baby.
Staff is very helpfull and profi. Best evening views in the lobby with a drink or snacks. The energy and calmness of the surrounding.
Filling up some form upon late arrival and late check-in.
AC not user friendly and not easy to switch cooling.
Dispanse bottles in the bathroom not refilled upon arrival.
no shoe horn in the room coridor!
Honestly for a hotel with such a big reputation i was surprised to witness it. Had a great weekend though so it didn't matter but many things could be improved in my humble opinion.

The room was very cozy and comfortable. The staff were extremely supportive—even with the ongoing union strike, they managed breakfast well despite limited staff, which we truly appreciated. Due to the strike, we couldn’t enjoy the swimming pool and wellness facilities, but this was communicated to us in advance, so we were well informed.
The view from the hotel was absolutely beautiful and very soothing—it felt like a true retreat. The sunset view was incredible, and the ski museum is just within walking distance. Public transportation is also easily accessible. The hotel is wonderfully surrounded by nature, making it a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Such a beautiful hotel with fascinating design. The old and new created a rich history. The location above the city and the fjord was stunning. We had a great room and it was a nice 0.5 mile walk to the T-bann (tram) that took you down the 1,000 vertical feet next to the Olympic Ski Jump to the city center below. Easy parking in the packing levels below.
This comment is true to almost all of Europe ... the large thick comforters are hard to regulate given the rooms often are hard to manage the heat. An open window doesn't always work.

The restaurant was wonderful and the manager or at least the person in charge of it was fantastic. That was the best meal that we had in all of norway. We had great food everywhere but that was our number one
They're always needs to be a telephone in the room. Also the light switches are hard to figure out. For three people it was a very tight squeeze.

Breakfast was nice, but so crowded it was hard to manage.
Mildew and mold in the shower, we were put into a handicap room and yet the toilet seat was broken. No phone to call the front desk, a view of a retaining wall, and a door that wouldn’t lock when we left the room.

Amazing buffet in the hotel. We had dinner and breakfast and it set a very high standard for food for the rest of our travel. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom floors were heated! Beautiful view outside the hotel.
