Location, friendliness of staff.
We had a room on the top floor. It was very hot, and due to the roof, I kept hitting my head on the beams even though I am of average height.

Very comfortable and excellent value for Norway.
The only problem was trams rumbling past until late at night, and starting up again early in the morning. If I’m booking again I will request a room that doesn’t face the street.

Great breakfast! They had avocado every day!
It had a hairdryer and and iron. They were important as I was on a business trip.
Location is very central, only 10 mins from the National Theater (metro station).
It was the hottest week in the summer, so the room got slightly warm. I love the heat, so it was not a problem for me.

The location was excellent close enough to the centre but far enough to avoid the crowds. The heritage building provided a nice feel.

Great location, very clean and spacious room. I've experienced a vast array of hotel breakfasts and this ranks number 2 on my list (the Waldorf in Jerusalem was slightly better). 9 out of 10 overall!
Only one elevator that was a bit slow. No biggie.

The room was very big and nice. Friendly staff and a very good location. Everything was clean and working
Because of the ongoing strike, the breakfast was slightly reduced, so no hot food. But thats just unlucky timing for us, I am sure it is good when its not strike :)

The room and the bathroom were very clean, but there is very limited space. We only had cabin luggage, and there was nowhere to open the suitcases. The hotel is within walking distance from the centre.

The bathroom is large.
Lots of dirts on the bathroom windowsill. The bed sheet was not so clean.There was tram passing by just outside the hotel which could be vulnerable for light sleeper.

Room was decent and clean. Bar was a nice addition. Very good shower.
Breakfast food that was supposed to be hot was only warm at best. Vinmonopily bottle of same wine available in the hotel was 224.90 Krone but bar charged 635 Krone or 182% profit which seems rather high.
