Great room with a sweeping view of Oslo. Room was clean, efficient. Convenient location from train station. Central to all tourist spots.

Disappointing
The breakfast in terms of choice and quality. The location is very good, near the main train station, the Opera House and the Munch museum. There are many restaurants nearby.
The hotel seems to need an uplift. The rooms seem old, and the carpets on the floor seem dirty. The windows in the rooms cannot be opened so it feels like the air cannot be changed. There are so many people staying in this hotel so there are long lines at the checkin counters as well as in the breakfast hall. The use of the elevators is very confusing.

We arrived too late for booking the dinner at the classic top restaurant.
The bar/restaurant at the very top was disappointing. Quality of the food should be better.

double bed was small and the extra mattress on top kept shifting during sleep, was not comfortable. Rule with the fridge use was not clear, unpacking it to put in own stuff was tedious, room could have an extra fridge and a minibar for those who need it

Overall, the hotel offers a good quality stay. The rooms and facilities are okay. The elevators are advanced, in fact. The view from the gym is amazing. The view from the restaurant is great too. The people are lovely and helpful, mostly. The location is very convenient, within walking distance to the train station.
I’ve stayed at numerous Radisson hotels. It was my first time staying at the Plaza version. One of the big differences is breakfast. There was an egg station but the chef there is the least enthused I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t care if I’d got an egg I could eat but he presumed he could just make it runny. It truly felt like an episode of the Soup Nazi - you have 5 seconds to declare what you want and how. It may not be his fault - I do not know that the staffing levels are correct for a facility with so many guests. Other than reception, most other workers appeared stressed. So the barebones omelette offered didn’t meet expectations and then to my great shock - there was no salmon, something quite odd about being up north and having no salmon. Ironically, the Radisson in Copenhagen had the best salmon on this planet. To go from the best to none is unexpected. Also, it didn’t bother me but I do think ardent swimmers are going to find the pool rather small.

It was centrally located. The rooms were nice. Breakfast was amazing.
It was centrally located. The breakfast was amazing but no one told us it was included until the final day of our stay. The elevators were confusing. Check in was interminable. Long lines and once it was your turn, it took 5 minutes to check in. Print out's paperwork. Despite checking in on line. What was the point? Tried to call to upgrade my room so my daughter could join me. Messaged the property through Booking for two days, no answer. Tried to call all day long. No one picked up the phone. Refused our request for double beds.

The reception staff !!!!! They delayed us for more than 1:30 hours just to check in then gave us our room.

Great location close to train station, clean rooms, helpful staff. Good restaurants.
Construction outside was extremely noisy and disruptive and kept us up all night. Pool was misrepresented, cannot see the city or skyline from it and it’s much smaller than pictured
