Location was excellent, easy walk to/from the station and around the city.
The beds are super comfortable and stylish and well designed and laid out.
The breakfast had very good variety of options
The check in process was easy and staff were delightfully friendly.
We even had our luggage forwarded from Bergen and they kept it secure for us overnight.
We were put in a room behind the elevator which ran constantly so was noisier than you’d want for the price (weird there is no discount for a noisier room).
Plus our TV didn’t work the entire stay despite raising the issue and expecting that a technician would fix it.
While the staff were lovely ultimately our room was not to the standard anticipated (given previous positive times staying at Raddison Red in other countries).

Clean, modern, comfortable. One of the best city centre hotels I’ve stayed in. Staff were great especially the young Turkish girl that checked us in. My work colleagues that stayed were equally impressed. Will be back

Nice place
Despite requesting 2 single beds in my room and arriving relatively early. I Was told they do not have any single bed rooms left. After a long direct discussion the manager.. then just like magic found a room with twin beds.
Rather than blame Bookings.com this hotel needs to take requests seriously especially when they do in fact have twin rooms available..instead of hiding behind the general statement twin rooms can’t be guaranteed..

Perfect location for us - 10 min to the Opera House, 10 min to the Palace, 5 min to Karl Johan St, 5 min to the Fort - great for walking in any direction. Check in and breakfast staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Room was comfortable for 3 adults - we had no issues.
We loved the decor of the lobby/reception/bar area. It was loaded with coffee table books - a great reason to visit outside of our room. We tried the gym (adequate for a city hotel but who's going to stay inside when you can go walking/running outside?) and enjoyed the buffet breakfast - large enough selection to satisfy our party of 3.
Front desk offered a late room check out when we asked to use the luggage room.
Very much appreciated being able to do that!
Nitpicking now as there really wasn't anything to improve - found the trash bin inefficient. One of those bins that's separated into thirds - paper, waste and ? (sorry, can't remember the third) but too small to be off any use.
