I stayed at Olympiatoppen Sportshotel - Scandic Partner in Oslo from 18 to 20 July, and one of the hotel’s strongest advantages is its location. Situated in the outskirts of Oslo, it offers a peaceful and scenic environment, making it an excellent choice for travelers who prefer a quieter setting away from the city center. The hotel is particularly convenient for guests with a car, as it provides free parking—an important benefit in Oslo. Additionally, the surrounding area is attractive and suitable for leisure walks, and the hotel offers free and reliable internet, which adds to the overall convenience of the stay.
the overall value for money is disappointing given the relatively high price. The services provided fall below expectations for a hotel in this price range. Notably, breakfast is not included in the booking, which is unusual and inconvenient. Room service is minimal, with no air conditioning or even a basic fan, which affects comfort during warmer days. Furthermore, there is no proper hot water facility for making coffee or tea, and the absence of a telephone in the room makes it difficult to contact reception when needed. Several essential amenities that are typically standard in hotel rooms at this price level are missing, which significantly impacts the overall guest experience.

Location was good. Tons of Free Parking just a few min walk as well so don't worry about paying any Parking Fee if u stay in this hotel.
2 x EV Charging Stations also available where you can charge your EV overnight.
5 mintues drive there is a Big Grocery store as well
5 min walk to a Metra Station i believe you can get a train from there to OSLO city Centre.
Staff was very courteous especially the girl at night shift always greeted us with a smile and helped me plugging my EV Car to one of the EV Station as i wasn't sure how to plug in my EV in those EV stations
Breakfast was awesome. You will not disappointed at all. Too many BF Varities and freshly made. They had everything what we needed for breakfast.

20-25 min drive to OSLO Main City Centre from this hotel.
No Microwave inside Room OR Fan. We didn't asks may be the could have provided a fan if we asked.

Nice location and the only reason why I booked
The room is rather plain and old for the amount of money you pay. There was hair in the bathroom. Very little information by the front desk once you arrive. There were two uninterested bored kids at the front desk which made it rather unappealing to ask for anything
