Breakfast, Location, and Staff were great.
This hotel was booked because they indicated that they had air conditioning. The did not.
They had "air circulation" in the room, BUT, when the thermostat was set to "cool" not only was there NO cool air, but there was NO forced air movement whatsover. The room temperature was in the mid-80's at 10PM. That's not acceptable.
I know that these old buildings don't have quality air conditioning but you can't advertise it and then not deliver it. And, at a minimum, they should have a few dozen portable A/C units available to be delivered upon demand.
The room booked was a suite as well, so....not a cheap stay.

I actually only stayed 2 nights , I checked out on the 17th not 18th , I was there with a big group of people .
The staff at The Bristol was unable to help me or help me with contacting Bookings.com to reimburse me for the night I didn’t stay . Can you help by chance ?

We were really pleased with the DeLuxe. It's a charming hotel in a very convenient location. Love the theme and the Driftwood Room bar is worth the trip alone. The highlight was the front desk staff: Aidan and Alex were super helpful and cheerful. Was a nice welcome after a long day.
My only teeny complaint was that the pillows were super overstuffed and I wish there had been more variety of pillows to choose from in the room as it was late before I realized it. Minor complaint for otherwise great stay.

We used the towels and sanity kit on the first day, and they came up for cleaning to the room, they didnt put the new ones, but they renewed the minibar! During our stay i didnt have the bathrobe again.

Historic and beautiful, conveniently located near the train station with a legendary breakfast. The Bristol Spa added to the luxurious atmosphere with an unforgettable snow room experience.
The standard room bathroom was uncomfortable even for one person.

The staff were attentive to our every need. The hotel was centrally located and the room was lovely. We enjoyed the amazing breakfast as well as the hotel restaurants. Thank you for making our trip to Norway even more special.

Breakfast was superb. Decor throughout the hotel was elegant and impressive. Room was quiet and comfortable. Parking in the garage was challenging!

The hotel had a great energy, location was perfect, and the staff was incredibly helpful and professional. Especially the two concierges we interacted with. They were so helpful when we asked quesitons about how to navigate aroudn the city.
The only minor glitch was a not-so-great experience in the lobby restaurant at lunch. Very slow service and a flustered and not helpful wait staff. Our street-facing room also was a bit noisy on a Friday night.

Great location, staff and breakfast. Quite a comfortable room. Very comfortable bed, warm blanket, excellent shower, bathroom with heated floors. Everything was clean. Very nice staff. Hotel also has gym.
Do not try using the coffee machine (at least mine didn't work). Slippers and a robe are missing. On the first night, there was a lot of street noise until about 1 a.m.— better to bring noise-cancelling headphones.
