The building is nice and has a nice history. The location was perfect for us. The breakfast was good.
Really poor dinner, small variety of options and the food had no taste. The macaroni tasted like it was from the day before, dry and rigid.
The room was extremly loud, and noisy between 7-23:00 since it was above the air changing system. The elevator had a strange noise.

Breakfast is superb and the dinner is an added bonus. The location is great in a really nice safe and affluent area 2 minutes walk from a tram stop.

It would it be good if it wasn’t for those enormous mistakes that devalued the hotel. Definitely not a 4 stars
Im writing to formally complain about my recent two-night stay at your hotel, which unfortunately fell far below acceptable standards.
Firstly, the room was extremely dusty upon arrival. This created a serious issue as my child suffers from skin allergies and was unable to stay comfortably in the room. I requested a room change, explaining the situation, but this was denied, leaving us in an unsuitable environment.
Secondly, as someone who is gluten intolerant, I was very concerned to find that the gluten-free bread provided was covered in mould. This is not only unacceptable but also poses a health risk.
In addition, on the day before our check-out, a handyman entered our room without permission to address a shower issue. This was a clear breach of privacy and made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
Finally, the overall stay was further disrupted by excessive noise. Housekeeping began very loud hoovering at around 8:00 am, accompanied by frequent slamming of doors, making it impossible to rest.
Given these issues, I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service and care provided. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and provide an appropriate response, including compensation for the inconvenience and distress caused.

great breakfast and evening meal included. Hotel communal areas all very good. Very clean throughout. Staff helpful and friendly
standard double room was fine, although a little on the small side.
Really minor thing, but tea and coffee cups that don't have handles are really impractical in bedrooms.

Great location, friendly staff, good facilities, excellent food. Layout of hotel is excellent, cosy seating areas and exceptional restaurant areas making it very comfortable.
Room was small for two persons staying a few nights with large suitcases. En-suite bathroom / wet room very tiny and not ideal for two sharing as everywhere very wet after a shower.

The Hotel has a really homely atmosphere and is very generous towards its guests providing tea, dinner and breakfast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and there are multiple rooms in which to chill.
