Friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast,evening meal and afternoon coffee/cake included in room rate. Well decorated recently refurbished room. Comfortable bed. Gave gluten free options when asked. Breakfast bag for early departure at 5:00 am. Great value for city centre stay in any country but especially Norway. Close to harbour walk National opera house and Asker Fortress. Ten minutes walk from central station. No disturbance in courtyard room. There is a construction site in front of the hotel but that is the situation all around central Oslo where new expensive apartment buildings and road tunnels are being built.
The bathroom is quite small but adequate for the stay.

Dinner was included, which I hadn't realised, and it was delicious, with quality ingredients and a lot of choice. Breakfast was also gorgeous. The staff were lovely and the location is great to access all the main sights while being on a quiet street. The bed was comfortable. They offered free tea and cake in the afternoons, which were also delicious and a lovely touch!
The room was quite small and its hallway had a mini-kitchen. It would have been more useful if it had been kept as space to put our luggage.

Located steps from the city center and public transport hubs, this hotel wraps you in a warm hug from the moment you step in. A sumptuous breakfast starts your day. Excellent (free) coffee and tea are available all day, along with cake to refresh you in the early evening, before the dinner that is also part of the package. The ground floor is attractively designed in a series of spaces. The staff are very helpful and efficient. Who could ask for more?

The location is fabulous, within minutes walk of the Opera house, the waterfront, Akershus fortress and the train station.
The only negative thing I can say is the room was very warm and there was no air con.

Second time in this hotel, the pluses were the same. This time we had a renovated bathroom, much better than the first time.

Location was excellent. Staff were friendly, room was clean and well equipped.
We stayed half board which was nice, although evening meal was set menu with no alternatives eg meat-free main option at every sitting. There was always a salad bar and soup.
