The breakfast was fantastic! Location was in the heart of the downtown palace action and many neighborhoods were within walking range. The lobby bar was a great relaxing space, too.
Check in was delayed but the front desk comped us wine while we waited.

Great location on an elegant main avenue with shopping, restaurants, transportation, and major sights nearby. Right by Parliament and lovely to see the palace on a hill at the other far end of the avenue. About 10 minutes walking from Sentrum train station. Breakfast was excellent, large variety of food including smoothies and fresh juices. Room was comfortable and clean.
Nothing I liked all of my stay.

Location, close to main attractions at Oslo; great breakfast, good selection of food.
Reception, I emailed in April to check whether we can store our luggages for 3 nights in August when we’re out of town and we will stay at Karl Johan when we’re back from Norway in the Nutshell, and the reception team replied saying we can store the luggages for free. However, when we confirmed again on the day prior to our arrival, the team said they had a new initiatives this summer that they will charge NOK 100 per night for 2 luggages. The team was very pushy and harsh in the email communication, making the whole experience forced.
Also, the gym is located at a basement, more like a dungeon, which was quite creepy and unsafe to workout at the gym.

Breakfast was very nice. pure Norwegian breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Washroom sink was so tiny, it was so difficult to wash my face and standard room was pretty small. Overall, very nice because of the location, which is probably the best.
Room size is very small. There should be water in the rooms.

Location is fantastic, central to everything. Cleanliness was super. Staff friendly and helpful.
Good selection for breakfast and all in plentiful quantities.
Air con did not work well if at all. It was very warm at night.
