The breakfast was absolutely outstanding and the highlight of our stay. The variety was excellent, allergens were clearly labelled, and the care taken with coeliac guests was exceptional. As someone who travels frequently and has stayed in many hotels, including five-star properties, I was genuinely impressed. Overall, the hotel offers reasonable value for money and is fairly priced.
The rooms are quite basic and lack some practical amenities, such as a kettle and a proper shelf for toiletries in the shower. Water also leaks from the shower area onto the bathroom floor. The tram passing directly in front of the hotel can be quite noisy, so the soundproofing could be improved.
At check-in, we were not informed that we needed to present our key card to the reader again to lock the room door. We only discovered this by checking the door ourselves. Guests should be clearly informed about how the locking system works. Reception staff could also be a little warmer and more welcoming, for example by responding when guests say hello.
On our final day, we noticed that the door no longer required us to use the key card reader to lock it. The system appeared to work differently from before, although we do not know why this changed.

Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and varied. Beds were comfortable, WIFI was good but unsecured. Wish I had been able to stay longer.
The lift. No real instructions, took a while to work out, which at end of long day not easy.
Location was in a bit of a dodgy area. A few homeless wandering around. Every city has them, I'm just not dragging a suitcase holding a phone for maps in those areas!
