1. It's not that we didn't like but this is for future guests: suite rooms location are not in the same building. It can be not easy for people with walking problem. Especially if you get room which is not on the ground floor. You have to walk up to the other building, take off your shoes, walk up the stairs to second floor with your suitcases.
2. There was a 'surprise' for us when on our 2nd day, we were in the room, someone opened the door and showed his card that he just got our room for his stay when we still had one more night to stay. He went back to the reception.

All staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well organized even with lots of people. Rooms were comfortable and warm. Plus, the block out curtains were good.
Restaurant for a nighttime meal was a bit expensive. Good menu, but more expensive than expected.

The only space to socialize was in the lobby area which the majority of the time was full with tourists waiting for their room or their boat/aircraft.

Once in a lifetime trip! The hotel had a perfect location, great breakfast, restaurant and pub. Everyone was super friendly especially the people working in the bar. We booked a boat tour through the hotel and were lucky enough to see a polar bear!
We stayed in the building next to the hotel which was a bit old and no lift so we had to carry our luggage some stairs which can we problematic for some people.

Location is very convenient and all great amenities that come with Radisson Blue
Wait time for checkin - we were asked to come back around 2pm and when we did, they realized that we have a junior suit that they did not start prepping for yet.

The hotel was in a great position to reach the main street in Longyearbyen ,compared to a couple of other hotels we looked at considering the slippery conditions. The breakfast was fantastic, whether you wanted fruit and yogurts, continental or something more filling, we came away super impressed. Don’t miss out on using the sauna and jacuzzi after a full day of activities, a great way to wind down.

Excellent location, great front desk check in, good spread at breakfast buffet, nice spacious junior suite.
Junior suites are located outside the main hotel and we struggled to carry our luggage outside in chilling weather
Also every time we had to go to front desk we had to walk from outside… a bit difficult for senior citizens like us
