The breakfast was wonderful, I can't say enough about the bountiful and excellent food choices. The location was also good and the staff very friendly and professional.
Our room was small but very comfortable and clean. My husband complained of lack of storage space, as he likes to unpack his suitcase.

Sensational breakfast, even had outdoor tables although weather didn’t make that attractive. Huge bathroom especially for Scandinavian standards. Helpful friendly staff. Terrific location!
Lobby limited and hallway decor horrible and marginally clean that had us scared, unnecessarily about what room would be like. A shame entry created such bad first impression as rest was nice.

Large clean room, great location, very quiet (no noise from other rooms but you could hear street noise with window open), fast wi-fi

Nice, modern room. There was always coffee available in the lobby. Staff was friendly, and they arranged for a to-go breakfast for us since we had a very early departure to catch a train. Also, the connecting restaurant food was good, reasonably priced, and a nice atmosphere. This hotel is close to the train station and tram from the airport. Convenient to everything.
During our stay, sreet noise was excessive due to student celebrations, but it may still be a bit noisy during regular times.

Well run hotel in the heart of Bergen. Pleasant and professional staff. They even packed breakfast for us on our departure day as we had to leave quite early.
The color scheme in the halls wasn’t to my taste, but this was not a big deal.

We stayed at Thon Bristol for 6 nights recently. The location was very central and convenient to walk to most of the things we wanted to see and do. The rooms were small by U.S. standards but were very functional and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the shower had good water pressure and nice hot water. The breakfast was delicious with a very good assortment of breakfast items to choose from. We especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace to enjoy our breakfast. The breakfast staff were also very friendly. I will say that our room overlooked the square area and it was a bit noisy during the weekend nights - if that is an issue for you. Overall, a great choice for a family trip to Bergen.
