We had a lovely room as it was a very special occasion though we did go to hotel before we were staying to request it and when we arrived to stay the room was not very suitable, so we asked to change and a very pleasant lady found us a very room ,so thanks you to her we had a good stay

Location excellent. Quirky and full of character. Excellent breakfast.
Access to our room entailed some stairs with no lift - hard to manage luggage for elderly guests.

The hotel is very centrally located, just across the street from the Fish Market and various fjord cruises. Beds were comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety of delicious food.
This is a hotel for people who are passing through, perhaps staying a couple of nights and no more. Rooms and bathrooms are tiny; there is no washroom in the lobby for guests; the staff are polite but generally indifferent. It makes for a convenient stay rather than a relaxing one.

Located right in middle of the old town so can walk everywhere

We were able to store the luggage before and after our stay which is very convenient
The room was very small
It had one chair and a tiny shelf-desk. Needed to move the chair away for overnight so as to not trip on it

Location is excellent. Staff were helpful.
The photo on booking.com of the double room is not what you get. The hotel blamed booking.com for having the wrong photos. The double room is a tiny box that you can only just walk around if you shuffle sideways. See first photo below. I complained and they did move us to the room as advertised on the 2nd night.. The first photo is the room we were given. The 2nd is the room on this website.

This hotel was in an excellent location directly opposit the fish Market on the water front with amazing views. Hotel was very clean, breakfast was very good it was also very busy but there was plenty of staff on hand to clear tables, so never a long wait.
I stayed for 3 nights when I arrived One of the lifts wasnt working and it still wasnt fixed when I left. It didnt bother me but there was a lot of families with young children or babies who would have to wait for a lift. As I said this didnt affect me but it would be an issue for some people.

best location- just across tourist pick up area. airport bus stop and restaurants are nearby. good wifi, comfy beds. superb breakfast buffet.
gets hot during summer without AC. Fan can be requested at the front desk, if available which helps a bit. small rooms but it is not critical
