The hotel is in a good location, being a 5 minute walk from the train station and around 10 from the harbour and old town area. The room itself was fine - everything you expect from a Scandic hotel. It was well sound-proofed. Breakfast was OK - we agreed that "good" would be a fair observation as we didn't leave hungry but felt that the choice could have been wider. Of course, that might be due to our central European tastes rather than Scandinavian tastes. Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful.
The only real complaint was that the air conditioning wasn't that good and opening a window meant there was a lot of noise from the street. This resulted in a rather uncomfortable night's sleep for both of us.

Breakfast amazing and healthy, 5 grandchildren loved the selection trying things they have never had before
Nothing could have been better apart from doors were hard to open and close. Unfortunately one child was very unwell through out our stay which meant my daughter had to keep asking for things, extra bed here and there. Would have been nice if she could have had someone to bring her something to eat and drink as she wasn’t able to leave the room.

Location was great, within 3 mins walking distance from the lake and station. Modern design and breakfast was very good.
Beds are way too small for 2 adults and no airco. It was quite warm these days and even with the window open it wasn’t cool. So we didn’t sleep well at all unfortunately.

The position is very good , close to stops both of the bus and the bybanen. The room was spacious. The checkout time at 12 is great. Appreciated the kettle+tea outside of the UK!
The room to store the luggage did not feel very safe, we just walked back in and retrieved ours without speaking to anyone or having any ticket to show what was ours.

I was overcharged for my room, and after countless attempts to have the problem rectified, I had no resolution. Very unprofessional! I was very disappointed with the hotel. It was my second time staying, and I will not be back.
