The hotel was very comfortable. The location was very near the ferry dock which we needed. The staff accommodated an early check in which was very much appreciated. Breakfast provided a huge selection of food all of which was nicely presented and tasty.

Location, close to everything.
Room had one step to get into bathroom. The step sticks out and is a hazard. Very poor design. Rooms are very basic.

location was excellent for what we needed to do. two blocks from the boat ferry terminal meant about a 6 min walk to the hotel. We had a nice view from the window. room was good no issues there. Breakfast was very good with a bid selection of food items. Coffee was available all day for free so that was a plus.

The breakfast was wonderful! Highly recommend!
The location was excellent, very easy to explore from there.
The facilities were very clean.
Unfortunately, the room overlooked a busy street, which was quite loud with traffic.
Our room was extremely warm due to floor to ceiling windows across the whole room, so we needed the heater off, the window open. Eventually we just had to keep the curtains closed all the time to keep the sun out.

When our other hotel cancelled the day before due to strike, Scandic Neptun had availability and we were able to drop our bags early and head off sight seeing! The hotel had a great breakfast and friendly staff!

Good breakfast and very central location.
Very warm rooms (over 30 degrees) in a room without AC. Small bathroom and inconvenient room set-up/furniture. And you could not have the windows open at night because the street below was very loud (traffic.) Even the hotel lobby was very, very warm. Had no towels in the room, but this got sorted when we mentioned it and the staff was in general friendly.

Amazing breakfast - exceeded all expectations for choice and freshness and availability; also well staffed with friendly staff. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere since the hotel seemed pretty central. Appreciated being given a fan for the room on an upper floor since it was warm and there was no air conditioning. Very happy to have a handheld shower head.
No washcloths in addition to the hand and bath towels. Some hotels in Norway, even Scandic hotels, include washcloths, but Scandic Neptun did not. The room was warm, so we had to open the windows, but then the street noise was terrible at night. The open shower stall made the bathroom a mess when we showered. Other Bergen hotels we stayed at had showers that were completely enclosed.

Beautiful room with lots of space. The breakfast was very good, fresh with a lot of options. Great location, close to everything and easy walkable area. Close to train station. Highly recommend

Located 3 blocks from the Wharf. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom and room and…a fabulous breakfast!
They could benefit by having better tv channels. Other than that, it was great!
